Thank you for choosing to stay at Seascape. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

LIVING ROOM

As you first open the door, you are greeted by our open-plan dining, and living room. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

  • Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

  • Our living room comes with a LG Smart TV which has access to free to air TV as well as an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.

    There is one smart remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.

    When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol, located top right of the main selection button.

    To select between different applications simply scroll along the bottom row and press the middle button to select as well as there being Netflix, Youtube, Prime video and google play buttons underneath the main selection buttons.

    Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

  • The living/dining and bedrooms on the main first floor has a Daikin deducted air conditioning units to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.

    Use the top right hand button to turn the system on. The screen should show the current set temperature

    To change the temperature use the arrows located in the middle.Either press the up to increase or the down to decrease.

    If you would like to change the mode use the button “MODE” on the top left. Continue to click until you get to your desired mode.

    To change the fan speed use the button with the “FAN” logo. Continue to click until you get to your desired speed

    You may access the main menu and locate advanced settings, such as quick start, scheduling, etc, by pressing the arrow in the centre of the panel.

KITCHEN

Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

  • To operate the oven in our main home, follow these simple instructions:

    Press the far-left button labeled on/off to turn on the oven.

    Utilize the silver scroll wheel around the middle screen to choose your desired cooking setting (e.g., fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, etc.).

    Set the temperature by pressing the thermometer button located towards the bottom right of the scroll wheel. Adjust the temperature using the same silver scroll wheel around the middle screen.

  • Operating the electric cooktop in our main home is a breeze. Follow these steps for easy use:

    Twist the knob to the left to achieve the desired heat level.

    After use, ensure the knob is turned back to 0 to switch off the cooktop.

    Remember, the plate may remain hot after use, so exercise caution. Enjoy your cooking!

  • Experience the convenience of our Bosch Dishwasher in our home. Follow these simple steps to operate it seamlessly:

    Press the On/Off button located on the far left side to turn on the dishwasher.

    Choose your preferred cleaning mode from the options in the middle.

    Close the dishwasher and press the start button, located on the far left.

    On departure, select the “quick 45” cycle on the right side of the screen for efficient cleaning.

    For additional guidance, find more instructions conveniently located on the top of the open dishwasher door. Enjoy a hassle-free clean-up!

  • Every Getawayz home is equipped with a Nespresso machine and milk frother. Complimentary coffee pods are provided for your visit.

    When using the Nespresso machine:

    Ensure the machine has adequate water, and is turned on at the powerpoint.

    There are buttons to make different sized coffees on the top of the machine. After turning the machine on, these buttons will flash until the machine is ready for use.

    When ready, place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. Then press the button corresponding to your desired size of coffee.

    Please regularly empty out the discarded pods from the machine.

    If you prefer milk in your coffee, we request that you supply your own milk for your visit.

Here, you'll find bin night information, and the convenient location of your fuse box for any unexpected issues. All safety concerns are also addressed here.

Rest assured, we have taken every measure to ensure your stay is enjoyable and worry-free.

  • FAN

    Our bedrooms are equipped with easy-to-operate fans controlled by a sleek white remote. To start the fan, simply press any button on the remote.

    Adjust the fan speed effortlessly choosing one of the 3 modes provided such as Low, Med and HI.

    But that's not all; our fans offer additional modes for your comfort. Explore the timer mode which you can set up up to 6 hours and the light button.

  • Enjoy the convenience of our front loader washing machine during your stay. Here's a simple guide to operating it smoothly:

    Open the drawer on the far left and insert the provided washing powder or detergent into the left tray. Close the drawer securely.

    To power on the machine, press the power button located on the top left.

    Twist the knob to select your desired washing program.

    On the right side, customize your cycle further by adjusting options like wash temperature, water level, and spin speed.

    To start the cycle, press the start/pause button located on the far right.

    Experience effortless laundry with our user-friendly washing machine. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our team.

  • Experience the convenience of our dryer during your stay. Operating it is a breeze:

    Press the power button on the far left to turn on the machine.

    Select the desired program for your drying needs.

    To start the cycle, press the start/pause button located on the far right.

    For optimal performance, remember to empty the lint filter and water drawer after each use, especially if you plan to use it multiple times during your stay. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our team. Enjoy your stay!

  • The fuse box at this property is located on the wall on the right hand side of the balcony.

    In the case of a complete or partial power outage, please check the fuse box:

    If any switches are flipped into the ‘off’ position, flip them back to an ‘on’ position.

    If all switches are on, and no changes occur, then this is most likely an issue with the power supply.

    Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power shortages.

    We would recommend either:

    Using the AusGrid website to check your power status.

    Call the Origins Energy Info Hotline at +13 10 03.

    You will need to provide your postcode 2230 for these services.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still receiving issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW Operations Manager Louis on 0411 870 991. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • Our Gas BBQ is located on our outdoor entertaining area off the living room and is perfect for family entertaining.

    We provide a gas bottle which will be connected for you throughout your stay.

    If you do replace the gas, please let Getawayz NSW know and we will make sure to change this over when you have departed.

    To operate the BBQ please follow the instructions bellow:

    IGNITING

    Open the lid and turn on the gas supply.

    Turn the burner control knobs and push the ignition button to light the BBQ.

    Once lit, adjust the burners to your desired temperature using the control knobs.

    For more detailed information please refer to the instruction on the right side of the knob.

  • Bins for our home are kept on the left hand side of the building facing it.

    The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.

    Bins are collected Wednesday morning, so we ask that you leave these out on a Tuesday evening and collect these from the street if you are staying on Wednesday. If you are checking out on Wednesday, our housekeeping and styling team will collect these on your behalf.

    If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

  • Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.

    Please be mindful to use the rangehood in the kitchen, and to abide by the ‘no-smoking’ house rule.

    There is a Fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the Under the sink, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.

    In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone.

    Please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is of utmost importance!

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    • Please email us at guests@getawayz.com.au for any enquiries during business hours.

    • Alternatively, you can contact us via your booking platform.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
