Welcome to The Postcard, McMahons Point. Your postcard views, located in your own private studio apartment.
There are views, and then there are views that stop you in your tracks. The kind that make you stand at the window for five minutes before you can bring yourself to unpack. The Postcard is firmly the latter.
Positioned in one of McMahons Point's most coveted buildings, this beautifully styled studio apartment sits directly overlooking Sydney Harbour, with uninterrupted views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House framed perfectly from every corner of the space. Wake up to it from bed. Drink your morning coffee looking straight at it from the kitchen. Step out onto the private balcony and you are eye-level with one of the most photographed views on the planet.
Inside, the studio is clean, modern and considered in every detail. White walls and quality linen keep things fresh and bright, while dark accent furnishings and original Sydney artwork give the space a warm, gallery-like feel. The kitchen is sleek, fully equipped and ready for everything from a quick breakfast to a proper meal in. The living area is comfortable and well-appointed, and with a lift in the building, everything is effortlessly accessible from the moment you arrive.
Our bedding configuration is as follows:
1 x Double Bed
The sofa can be used to sleep 1 person. Please note this is a fold out sofa with no mattress. We are happy for you to use this for a third person, however, we want to be as clear as possible that there is no mattress. We will of course provide blankets and pillows for this, however, we recommend using this for young children only.
A note on getting here and getting around: McMahons Point ferry wharf is moments from the front door, with Circular Quay just eight minutes across the harbour by ferry. Sydney CBD, Barangaroo, the Opera House, the Rocks and everything the city has to offer are right at your feet. For those arriving by car, there is a dedicated parking spot in the building garage included with your stay.

McMahons Point is one of Sydney's most coveted harbourside addresses and one of its best-kept secrets. Tucked on the Lower North Shore just three kilometres from the CBD, it sits at the tip of a peninsula with Lavender Bay to the east and Berrys Bay to the west, and Sydney Harbour stretched out in front of it.
Blues Point Reserve sits at the very tip of the peninsula and is widely regarded as one of the finest vantage points in the entire city. It is where Sydneysiders come to watch the sun drop behind the Harbour Bridge, and where New Year's Eve fireworks draw some of the most extraordinary views in Australia. From The Postcard, this is practically on your doorstep.
Blues Point Road runs through the heart of the suburb and is lined with neighbourhood cafes, restaurants and boutique shops that give the area a genuine village feel despite being moments from the CBD. Sails on Lavender Bay is a short walk away, offering waterfront dining directly on the harbour foreshore with views to match. The Commodore Hotel is a local institution. For a quieter start to the day, 67 Union Street Deli is a neighbourhood favourite that locals have been coming back to for years.
The McMahons Point ferry wharf connects you to Circular Quay in eight minutes, and from there the rest of Sydney opens up completely. Barangaroo, the Opera House, the Rocks, Darling Harbour and the CBD are all within easy reach by ferry or on foot.
Luna Park and the Milsons Point waterfront are a short walk to the east, and North Sydney's commercial hub is equally close for those travelling for work. This is a suburb that has everything and somehow still feels like a neighbourhood.
