The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!
For any inquiries throughout your stay, please contact us, and include the property code “SYD047” in your message. You can reach us at guests@getawayz.com.au, or via your booking platform.
We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

House Rules
LIVING ROOM
Our living space invites you to relax with stunning views of the peaceful waterfront park and marina, overlooking Rushcutters Bay.
You can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunsets right from the comfort of the sofa.

Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

The modem is located in the living room, in the first cupboard to the right of the TV.

Our apartment comes with a SAMSUNG Smart TV.
The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol.
To select between different applications simply scroll around and press the middle button to select your preferred streaming platform.

Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use
Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

The front windows have roller shutters on them. They are operated by the rectangular black and white remote.
KITCHEN
Our kitchen is well stocked and comes with all the utensils you need to cook meals at home! We ask that you take good care of any of the items in the kitchen. We know mistakes can happen, so if anything breaks, please let us know so we can replace these for you or our next guests!

The kitchen has strip lights for cooking, operated by the white controller located next to benchtop power point.

OVEN
To use the oven:
The right knob allows you to effortlessly adjust the temperature settings, while the left knob provides a seamless selection of different cooking programs. With this intuitive design, cooking becomes a pleasure, and creating culinary masterpieces has never been easier.
INDUCTION STOVE
Our main home comes with a 2-burner induction stove that is extremely easy to use and operate.
In order to use this, simply hold the power button. This is located at the bottom.
Once it is powered on you can set the level on the plus-minus buttons located on either side and is designed to identify which burner it is for.
Please note that when using our induction stove, please ensure that the pot or pan is placed on the stove before turning it on. Induction stoves require the presence of cookware on the cooking zone to function. This is because the stove needs to read which zone is covered before it can generate heat. Without the proper cookware in place, the stove won't work.

Pre-Departure Task:
Ensure all dishes and kitchen items are run in the dishwasher before departure.
Please do not put large food items down sink or dishwasher, as waste pipe goes via a pump and can become blocked.
Dishwashing Tablets:
Ample dishwashing tablets will be provided by the Getawayz NSW team. If running low, please inform them for replacement before the arrival of the next guests.
Turning On the Dishwasher:
Locate the on/off button on the left-hand side of the dishwasher door. Hold down the on/off button for a few seconds to turn on the dishwasher. The LED display on the right side will activate.
Program Selection:
Next to the LED display, you will find the "P" button for selecting the program.
Choose the program by referring to the symbols above the dishwasher.
Then press the start button to launch it!

To use the microwave please see below:
Press the mode that you wish such has Pizza, Beverage, reheat etc. Adjust the time that suits you.
Finally, just press the button start and you will see how much time is left before your meal is ready. ENJOY!
The microwave is located in the living room, in the first cupboard to the right of the TV.
Please know that the Kettle is located just under the microwave.
other amenities
Our home is full of all the amenities that you could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you to use throughout your stay!

There are washing and dryer machines on each half level, found via stairwell on entry side of the building.
These are a "pay per load" system for guests and residents.

Auto mode
Set to Auto mode and the on-board sensors will intelligently adjust the settings of the machine according to the air quality. Air quality: your machine will pause when the target air quality has been reached, switching on again when the air quality levels drop. Airflow speed: the airflow speed will increase until the target air quality and temperature have been reached.
Airflow speed and direction
Press the Airflow speed button to increase and decrease the airflow speed. Press the Airflow direction button to change the direction of airflow from front to back.
Oscillation
Press the Oscillation button to circulate the air around the room and scroll through the oscillation settings from 0° to 350°.
Night mode In Night mode, the Dyson purifying fan heater will continue to monitor and respond to changes in air quality, but only using its quietest settings.
Sleep timer
The Dyson purifying fan heater will turn off automatically after the selected amount of time. To set the time: press the button to scroll through the time options. Once activated, press the Sleep timer button once to see the time selected. To cancel the Sleep timer: press the Sleep timer button twice.
Heating and Cooling modes
Press the button to set the required room temperature. Your machine will pause when the temperature set has been reached. Press the Cooling mode button to switch your machine from heating mode to cooling mode.

Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.
Please be mindful to use the range hood in the kitchen, and to abide by the ‘no-smoking’ house rule.
There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the sink, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.
In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone.
Please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is of utmost importance!

The fuse box at this property is located behind the curtain of the bedroom ion the corner left side.
Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown, or been switched to “off”.
If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage and there is nothing Getawayz can do to rectify the issue (as much as we would like to help)! We would highly recommend downloading the app “power outages NSW” and checking this.
Another great option is to call Origins Energy Info Line on 13 10 03 which will let you know the suburbs that have been affected, the duration (approx) of the outage. You will need to provide the postcode, which is 2011.
If there is not a local outage and you are still receiving issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW Operations Manager Louis on 0411 870 991. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

Should the hot water or refrigerator not be working, please check power point located at the back of the slim cupboard, next to the fridge.
If there is a power outage across the entire apartment, please check the power box located in the bedroom behind curtain, for all switches to be in ‘on’ position.

The RED bin are located on the left side of the building while exiting it following the brown fence, however the YELLOW bin is located at the end of the unit level passage way (right side of the elevator)
Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.

The pool is accessed by two secure doors at either end of the building from the carpark. The same toggle that opens the front door of the building opens these doors.

For your enjoyment, we've provided a pair of tennis racquets and balls.

Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.
