Thank you for choosing to stay at “The Enmore”. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

LIVING Space

As you first open the door, you are greeted by our open-plan dining, and living room. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

  • This home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for all your digital needs:

  • Unwind and indulge in the ultimate entertainment experience with our smart TV. Enjoy easy viewing of your favourite shows and movies with just a few clicks.

    This property has a Samsung TV with a apple smart TV box connected.

    • To turn on the tv use the oval shaped remote, Press the red button at the very top of the remote.

    • The TV should be on HDMI 1 and the Apple TV should be connected. If this is not the case on the oval remote please press the Source button to the right of the power button.

    • The Apple TV remote is a smart touch remote. To turn on the Apple TV press down on the top half of the apple remote.

    • The Apple Apps screen or screen saver should appear. to exit screen saver press down on top half of remote.

    • Scroll through to your desired app by swiping on the top half of the apple remote, then to select your app once again press down on the top half of the remote.

    Please also note:

    • Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    • Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

  • The living/dining room has a reverse-cycle air conditioning units to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.

    • Use the top right hand button to turn the system on. The screen should show the current set temperature

    • To change the temperature use the button labeled “TEMP” and either press the up to increase or the down to decrease.

    • If you would like to change the mode use the button labeled “MODE” below the power button. Continue to click until you get to your desired mode.

    • To change the fan speed use the button labeled “FAN”. Continue to click until you get to your desired speed

KITCHEN

Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

  • This kitchen is outfitted with an oven for your use:

    To use the oven:

    • Press 'On/Off' to turn on.

    • Use the arrows to select your desired setting ('Fan Bake' is best for regular cooking) and 'Ok' to select.

    • Then use the arrows again to select your desired temp and 'Ok' again.

    As it's such a big oven, we recommend adding 5-10 degrees to your desired temperature.

  • This stove is operated by the dials located along the bottom. To use the BOSCH Gas stovetop:

    • In order to use this, simply hold the knob down and turn to the left to get the desired heat level you are after

    • Once done, please make sure the knob is back to the right as far as possible to make sure gas doesn’t leak

  • To use the microwave please see below:

    • Press 'Power Level'- it will show 'P10'

    • Punch in your desired time.

    • Press 'Start'. Microwave will start in 5 seconds.

  • Every Getawayz home is equipped with a Nespresso machine and milk frother. Complimentary coffee pods are provided for your visit.

    When using the Nespresso machine:

    • Ensure the machine has adequate water, and is turned on at the powerpoint.

    • There are buttons to make different sized coffees on the top of the machine. After turning the machine on, these buttons will flash until the machine is ready for use.

    • When ready, place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. Then press the button corresponding to your desired size of coffee.

    • Please regularly empty out the discarded pods from the machine.

    If you prefer milk in your coffee, we request that you supply your own milk for your visit.

  • This property is equipped with an automatic dishwasher. Dishwashing tablets, liquid, or powder will be provided.

    To operate this brand dishwasher, please:

    • Press 'Power' to turn on. It should already light up as 'Quick 1hr'

    • Press 'Start' and the timer should stop flashing.

    • Close the door and the cycle begins in a few seconds.

Home Utilities & Services

Here, you'll find bin night information, and the convenient location of your fuse box for any unexpected issues. All safety concerns are also addressed here.

Rest assured, we have taken every measure to ensure your stay is enjoyable and worry-free.

  • You are welcome to wash your clothes in this home. Detergent and/or washing powder has been provided for you. The washing machine is located in the cupboard at the end of the hallway.

    • Open the drawer located on the far left and insert the washing powder or detergent into the left tray and close.

    • To use the machine turn it on with the power button at the far right.

    • To chose from the programs simply twist the knob to your desired programs for washing.

    • On the right hand side, you can see different options for the cycle you have selected, including wash temp, water level and spin speed.

    • To start the cycle, simply press the start/pause button located on the left of the power button.

    Clothesline amenities:

    • Clothesline is retractable in the back courtyard. Simply pull it out and hook the bar on the hooks located on the opposite side of the yard,

    • The lever on the side of the unit, pull the knob out, and turn the lever arm anti-clockwise to click in to the hole above. If this is not done the strings may sag when trying to hang items.

    • Once you have finished use please retract back to the base after use.

    Ironing amenities:

    • In the same cupboard to the left of the washer is an ironing board, and the iron should be on the shelves above!

  • Both bedrooms have their own Samsung reverse-cycle air conditioning units as well as fans to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.

    To use the fans please see below:

    • Use the remote labeled “ThreeSixty”. to turn on press the desired fan speed.

    • NOTE: Each bedroom the fan is paired with the remote. if your fan happens to not work it could be the wrong remote. If issues persist please Contact our guest team.

    Please see below on how to operate the Samsung Airconditioner units:

    • Use the top left hand button to turn the system on. The screen should show the current set temperature

    • To change the temperature use the button labeled “TEMP” and either press the + to increase or the - to decrease.

    • If you would like to change the mode use the button labeled “MODE” on the top right. Continue to click until you get to your desired mode.

    • To change the Fan speed use the button labeled “FAN” and either press the + to increase or the - to decrease.

  • We ask that all guests appropriately dispose of their garbage, and sort waste materials appropriately when removing trash from the home.

    The bins are located on the opposite side of the property’s entrance. You can access it via the courtyard and it will be first left. Or via the street that circles the property.

    The outdoor garbage bins are colour coded:

    • Red lid is for general waste.

    • Yellow lid is for recyclable material.

    Getawayz NSW requires guests staying in properties on garbage collection days to take the bins out the night before collection.

    A reminder will be sent, in addition to the information provided in this manual.

    If the bins are not taken out, waste materials are not separated, or excessive garbage is left on the property, a $100 surcharge will be taken from either the bond or via your booking platform.

  • The fuse box at this property is located on the entry porch at the far end from the door.

    In the case of a complete or partial power outage, please check the fuse box:

    • If any switches are flipped into the ‘off’ position, flip them back to an ‘on’ position.

    • If all switches are on, and no changes occur, then this is most likely an issue with the power supply.

    Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power shortages.

    We would recommend either:

    • Using the AusGrid website to check your power status.

    • Call the Origins Energy Info Hotline at +13 10 03.

    You will need to provide your postcode 2042 for these services.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still receiving issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW Operations Manager Louis on 0411 870 991. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.

    Please be mindful to use the rangehood in the kitchen, and to abide by the ‘no-smoking’ house rule.

    • There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the sink, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.

    • In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone.

    Please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is of utmost importance!

  • In the event of minor injury, a complete first aid kit is available, stored underneath the kitchen sink.

    • Please contact us if you use any supplies in this kit, so we can replace them.

    • Under Federal legislation, Getawayz NSW cannot provide medical advice under any circumstances. Please do not request medical advice from our team.

    • If you need non-urgent medical advice, please call Healthline Australia at +1800 022 222.

    • In the case of a medical emergency, please call +000, and you will be assisted over the phone by medical professionals.

    If a serious injury, emergency, or near-miss occurs at your home, please notify us at your earliest convenience.

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    • Please email us at guests@getawayz.com.au for any enquiries during business hours.

    • Alternatively, you can contact us via your booking platform.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
