LIVING ROOM

Our living space welcomes you and your family with a leafy outlook, accompanied by our two favorite owls perched in the tree outside the living room. It's a warm and inviting area, ideal for enjoying a glass of wine after a day exploring Sydney. You can find all the living room features listed below.

  • Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

  • Our living room features a Samsung picture frame TV, offering access to free-to-air TV and functioning as a smart TV. Below are instructions on how to operate it:

    Note: This TV does not fully power off. Instead, it displays an image to resemble a picture frame.

    The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.

    When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol.

    To select between different applications simply scroll around and press the middle button to select your preferred streaming platform.

    Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

  • The apartment is equipped with two ceiling fans: one in the living area and another in the bedroom.

    To use them, please ensure the switch is turned on. The fan remote will only function when the switch is on.

  • The living/dining room has a heater unit to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.

    Operating our heater is a breeze! To start, simply press the upper button once. The default temperature will display on the top screen. Use the "+" button to increase the heat and the "-" button to decrease it.

    Need to adjust the speed? Just press the "MODE" button until you reach your desired setting. Enjoy personalised warmth at your fingertips!

KITCHEN

Our kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils you need to prepare meals at home! We kindly request that you handle all items in the kitchen with care. If something accidentally breaks, please inform us so we can promptly replace it for you and our future guests' convenience.

  • There are two dials located on the left side of the oven.

    • The left knob adjusts the oven mode, such as fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, etc. Simply select your desired mode to operate the oven.

    • The right knob is used to set the oven temperature.

  • To use the microwave please see below:

    Press the mode that you wish such has rice, pasta etc

    Adjust the power level that suits you the most by pressing the “power” button.

    Finally, just press the button start and you will see how much time is left before your meal is ready. ENJOY!

  • Our home features an electric cooktop that is straightforward to use. The control knobs are located to the left of the oven.

    To operate the cooktop, simply twist the knob to the left to adjust to your desired heat level.

    After use, ensure the knob is turned back to 0 to switch off the cooktop.

    Note: The cooking surface may remain hot after use, so please handle with caution.

  • Our kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso Machine, perfect for enjoying a delightful cup in the morning. Getawayz NSW provides ample coffee pods for your stay. If you prefer milk coffee over black coffee, please bring your own milk.

    If coffee pods run low during your stay, please let us know upon departure so we can replenish them for the next guests.

    Below are instructions on how to use the Nespresso Machine:

    • Plug in the Nespresso Machine at the power outlet and ensure there is sufficient water in the reservoir for your desired coffee.

    • At the top of the Nespresso machine, you'll find six buttons for different coffee sizes. Behind them is the power switch. Press this switch down to turn on the machine. The buttons will flash until ready for use.

    • Insert a coffee pod into the machine and close the silver latch. This will prepare your coffee.

    Please remember not to overfill the pod tray.

Our home is equipped with all the amenities that you, your friends, family, and loved ones could desire. Below, we've listed the additional amenities available for you to enjoy during your stay!

  • HEATER

    The bedroom has a heater unit to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.

    CEILING FAN

    To use these please ensure the switch is on. The fan remote will not work without the swich on.

  • Our home is equipped with a Samsung front loader washing machine for your convenience during your stay. Getawayz NSW provides washing powder for your use. Please follow these instructions to operate the washing machine:

    • Open the drawer on the far left and place washing powder or detergent into the left tray. Close the drawer securely.

    • To power on the machine, press and hold the power button until "hello" appears on the display.

    • Select your desired washing program by turning the knob. Program options will be displayed on the screen.

    • To start the cycle, press and hold the start/pause button located on the right side of the knob for 3 seconds.

  • At Getawayz NSW, we prioritize your safety by ensuring each property is equipped with functional fire alarms and undergoes regular fire safety inspections.

    Please remember to use the range hood in the kitchen and adhere to our 'no-smoking' policy.

    For emergencies, there is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket located under the sink. If used, please notify Getawayz NSW immediately.

    In the event of a fire, prioritize the safety of all guests and call the fire department immediately at +000 using your phone.

    Please report any incidents or near misses to us promptly. Your safety is our top priority!

  • The fuse box at this property is located on the left side wall before entering the unit door.

    Should the power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and switch all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown or been switched to “off”.

    If all the switches are on, it is most likely a local power outage, and there is nothing Getawayz can do to rectify the issue (as much as we would like to help)! We highly recommend downloading the app “Power Outages NSW” to check this.

    Another great option is to call the Origins Energy Info Line at 13 10 03. This will let you know the suburbs that have been affected and the approximate duration of the outage. You will need to provide the postcode, which is 2065.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still receiving issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW Operations Manager Louis on 0411 870 991. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • The bins are located beside the communal drying area on the left side of the main building entrance.

    The yellow bin is designated for recycling, while the red bin is for general rubbish. Please ensure that you use the appropriate bins for each type of material.

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    Please email us at guests@getawayz.com.au for any enquiries during business hours.

    Alternatively, you can contact us via your booking platform.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
