Thank you for choosing to stay at the Bungan. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

LIVING ROOM

Discover The Bungan, where breathtaking ocean views welcome you through the gate. As you descend the stairs to the front door, the living room unfolds—a haven of comfort with expansive windows framing the endless sea. This unique escape seamlessly merges luxury with nature. For details on navigating the living room, consult the manual.

  • Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

  • Our apartment comes with a TLC smart TV.

    The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.

    When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol.

    To select between different applications simply scroll around and press the middle button to select your preferred streaming platform.

    Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

KITCHEN

Our kitchen is well stocked and comes with all the utensils you need to cook meals at home! We ask that you take good care of any of the items in the kitchen. We know mistakes can happen, so if anything breaks, please let us know so we can replace these for you and/or our next guests!

  • Our house comes with a 60cm Smeg oven which is perfect for home-cooked meals. Please see the instructions below on how to use the oven.

    The knobs on the far left controls the degrees and the control functions (fan force, grill, oven bake, etc)

    All the knobs on the right-hand side are for gas. Simply hold down and turn to the right and this will allow you to turn on the gas.

  • Experience the ease of cooking with our 5-burner gas stove in the main home. To ignite, simply hold the knob down and turn it to the left to achieve your desired heat level.

    After use, ensure the knob is turned as far to the right as possible to prevent gas leakage. Enjoy effortless and efficient cooking in our kitchen!

  • Experience the convenience of our Bosch Dishwasher in our home. Follow these simple steps to operate it seamlessly:

    Press the On/Off button located on the far left side to turn on the dishwasher.

    Choose your preferred cleaning mode from the options in the middle.

    Close the dishwasher and press the start button, located on the far left.

    On departure, select the “quick 45” cycle on the right side of the screen for efficient cleaning.

    For additional guidance, find more instructions conveniently located on the top of the open dishwasher door. Enjoy a hassle-free clean-up!

  • Every Getawayz home is equipped with a Nespresso machine and milk frother. Complimentary coffee pods are provided for your visit.

    When using the Nespresso machine:

    Ensure the machine has adequate water, and is turned on at the powerpoint.

    There are buttons to make different sized coffees on the top of the machine. After turning the machine on, these buttons will flash until the machine is ready for use.

    When ready, place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. Then press the button corresponding to your desired size of coffee.

    Please regularly empty out the discarded pods from the machine.

    If you prefer milk in your coffee, we request that you supply your own milk for your visit.

  • Operating our microwave is a straightforward process. Begin by looking the right hand side of the door to access various modes. Select your desired mode and close the door securely. When you're ready to start, simply press the start button located in the bottom right corner.

  • Our home comes with a Beko dryer for you to use throughout your stay. It’s one of the easiest white goods in the home to use.

    • To turn the machine on simply press the On/Off button located on the far right.

    • Turn the dial to your selected program. Once selected press the Start/Pause button to begin the process.

    • If using this multiple times throughout your stay, please make sure to empty the lint filter after each use!

other amenities

Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

  • FAN

    The bedrooms are fitted with a fan.

    To use the fans use the white remote labelled.

    To turn on the fans press the ON/OFF button on the top right.

    To increase and decrease Press the top far left to decrease and the top middle to increase fan speed.

    SMART TV

    Elevate your bunk bed experience with a Smart TV in each bedroom. For detailed instructions on usage, kindly refer to the "Smart TV" section under the living room in your manual.

  • WASHING MACHINE

    Elevate your laundry experience with the front loader Fisher and Paykel washing machine in our home. Follow these simple steps for optimum performance:

    Open the drawer on the far left, insert the provided washing powder or detergent into the left tray, and close it securely.

    Turn on the machine using the power button located beside the drawer; press to toggle the machine on/off.

    Choose your preferred washing program by twisting the knob in the middle to the desired setting.

    Explore additional options on the right-hand side, such as wash temperature, water level, and spin speed.

    Initiate the cycle by pressing the start/pause button located at the far top right-hand side.

    DRYER

    Experience the ease of our Beko dryer for your laundry needs during your stay. Follow these simple steps for efficient operation:

    Turn on the machine by pressing the On/Off button located on the far right.

    Select your desired program by turning the dial to the appropriate setting.

    Once you've chosen your program, press the Start/Pause button to initiate the drying process.

    For repeated use during your stay, ensure to empty the lint filter after each cycle.

  • Our Gas BBQ is located on our outdoor entertaining area off the living room and is perfect for family entertaining.

    We provide a gas bottle which will be connected for you throughout your stay.

    If you do replace the gas, please let Getawayz NSW know and we will make sure to change this over when you have departed.

    To operate the BBQ please follow the instructions bellow:

    IGNITING

    Open the lid and turn on the gas supply.

    Turn the burner control knobs to ‘High’ and push the ignition button to light the BBQ.

    Once lit, adjust the burners to your desired temperature using the control knobs.

  • There is an outdoor shower located on the garden downstairs on the right side.

    We highly recommend using it after a day at the beach to remove as much sand as possible. This will help prevent bringing sand into the house, ensuring a more enjoyable and comfortable stay for everyone.

  • The fuse box at this property is located on the left hand side of the laundry, behind the door that leads to underneath the stairs.

    In case of a complete or partial power outage, please follow these steps:

    Check the fuse box. If any switches are in the 'off' position, flip them back to 'on.'

    If all switches are on and there are no changes, it may be an issue with the external power supply.

    Unfortunately, Getawayz NSW cannot rectify external power shortages.

    We recommend either checking the AusGrid website for your power status or calling the Origins Energy Info Hotline at +13 10 03. You will need to provide your postcode 2106 for these services.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still receiving issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW Operations Manager Louis on 0411 870 991. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.

    Please be mindful to use the range hood in the kitchen, and to abide by the ‘no-smoking’ house rule.

    There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the sink, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.

    In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone

    Please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is of utmost importance!

  • Discover convenience at your fingertips! Spare light bulbs and batteries are thoughtfully placed in the cupboard housing the fuse box (refer to the location above). Should you utilize any batteries or light bulbs, kindly inform the Getawayz NSW team for prompt replacement during the next changeover.

    In the rare event of stock depletion, Warriewood shopping centre, just a 10-minute drive away, provides a quick solution. Keep the receipts, and Getawayz NSW will reimburse you for any batteries and light bulbs purchased. Your comfort and satisfaction are our priorities!

  • Bins for our home are kept in front of the garage’s door on the right side entering the property.

    The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.

    Bins are collected Monday morning, so we ask that you leave these out on a Sunday evening and collect these from the street if you are staying on Monday. If you are checking out on Sunday, our housekeeping and styling team will collect these on your behalf.

    If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    • Please email us at guests@getawayz.com.au for any enquiries during business hours.

    • Alternatively, you can contact us via your booking platform.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.

Things to note

Enjoy seamless beach access from our backyard! Simply step onto the back deck and find the gate on the right side, leading to a pathway for easy walking distance to the beach. Embrace the coastal lifestyle and create memorable moments in our beachside haven.

  • Discover direct beach access in our backyard, situated on the far right of the grassy area. From the back deck extending from the living room, spot the gate to the right, just beyond the palm tree. Enjoy the convenience of a gateway, providing easy walking distance access to the beach, enhancing your coastal retreat experience.

  • Kindly note that we do not provide beach towels, toys, sunscreen, or any related accessories. Please ensure you bring these items to enhance your beach experience during your stay.
