House Rules
LIVING ROOM
As you first open the door, you are greeted by our open-plan dining, and living room. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

Our living room comes with a 65 INCH Samsung Smart TV which has access to free to air TV as well as an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.
There is once smart remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to avigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol, located top right of the main selection button.
To select between different applications simply scroll along the bottom row and press the middle button to select as well as there being Netflix, Youtube, Prime video and google play buttons underneath the main selection buttons.
Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use
Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.
KITCHEN
Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

Our house comes with a oven which is perfect for home-cooked meals. Please see the instructions below on how to use the oven.
The knobs on the far right controls the degrees and the control functions (fan force, grill, oven bake, etc)
All the knobs on the left-hand side are for gas. Simply hold down and turn to the right and this will allow you to turn on the gas.

Our main home comes with a 4-burner induction stove that is extremely easy to use and operate.
In order to use this, simply hold the power button for 3 seconds. This is located at the bottom on the right side.
Once it is powered on you can set the level on the plus minus buttons located on either side and is designed to identify which burner it is for.
Please note that when using our induction stove, please ensure that the pot or pan is placed on the stove before turning it on. Induction stoves require the presence of cookware on the cooking zone to function. This is because the stove needs to read which zone is covered before it can generate heat. Without the proper cookware in place, the stove won't work.
In addition, make sure that the electrical plug on the far left of the kitchen desk is turned on because it activates the stove.

It is simple to use by pressing one of the buttons on the right side panel, where you can choose the programme that you want, such as defrosting, softening, melting, etc. Press one of those, then click the Start button to start it.

Our kitchen comes complete with a Delonghi Nespresso Machine and milk frother, perfect for the perfect cup in the morning. Getawayz NSW will provide you with ample coffee pods throughout your stay. If you prefer milk coffee over black coffee, you will need to provide your own milk for your stay.
On departure, if the coffee pods are running low, please advise us and we will make sure to replace these for the next guests.

Other than turning on the Nespresso Machine at the powerpoint, the first thing to do is make sure there is enough water in the machine to make your desired coffee.
On the top of the Nespresso machine, there are two buttons to make coffee (the left is for short black, and right is for long black). Behind this is the switch to power the machine. Simply press this down and it will turn on the machine. The buttons mentioned above will flash until ready to be used.
Simply place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. This will make your coffee.
Please be aware that the Miele coffee machine in the kitchen is not intended for use; however, you are welcome to use the Nespresso coffee machine as often as you like.

This property is equipped with an automatic dishwasher. Dishwashing tablets, liquid, or powder will be provided.
To operate this dishwasher, please:
To power on the dishwasher press the power button on the far left.
To select the mode press the P button on the right
To start the machine press the Start/Pause button on the far right, a red light on the right corner wil turned on.
On departure, we ask that you use the “Quick 60” cycle as well as the extra dry button, located on the right. Our housekeeping & styling specialists will thank you for this!

WASHING MACHINE
Our home comes with a front loader LG washing machine for you to use throughout your stay. Please see below how to operate the washing machine:
Insert the washing powder or detergent into the left tray and close.
To power on the machine there is a power button on the left side of the knob. Simply press to turn the machine on/off and you will see the screen turning on.
To chose from the programs simply twist the knob in the middle to your desired programs for washing.
On the right hand side, you can see different options for the cycle you have selected, including wash temp, water level and spin speed.
DRYER
To power on the machine simply twist the knob in the middle. This also serves as the timer option therefore, twist to your desired drying time.
To start the cycle, simply press the play/pause button located at the far right hand side of the dryer’s door.

Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.
FIRE EQUIPMENT
There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the sink and another fire set up equipment under the BBQ, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.
In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone.

We ask that all guests appropriately dispose of their garbage, and sort waste materials appropriately when removing trash from the home.
The bins for this property are located on the left side (when facing the building) of the driveway entrance behind the mailboxes.
The outdoor garbage bins are colour coded:
Red lid is for general waste.
Yellow lid is for recyclable material.
Green lid is for vegetation
Getawayz NSW requires guests staying in properties on garbage collection days to take the bins out the night before collection.
A reminder will be sent, in addition to the information provided in this manual.
If the bins are not taken out, waste materials are not separated, or excessive garbage is left on the property, a $100 surcharge will be taken from either the bond or via your booking platform.

The main power switches for this property is located in the kitchen to the right of the fridge.
In the case of a complete or partial power outage, please check the fuse box:
If any switches are flipped into the ‘off’ position, flip them back to an ‘on’ position.
If all switches are on, and no changes occur, then this is most likely an issue with the power supply.
Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.
We would recommend either:
Using the Ausgrid Website to check for any known outages in the area.
Or call their hotline number: 13 13 88 to report an outage.
If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.
