House Rules
LIVING ROOM
Our home features open-plan living room, dining and kitchen. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

Our living room comes with a Linsar Smart TV which has access to free to air TV as well as an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.
There is one smart remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol, located top right of the main selection button.
To select between different applications simply scroll along the bottom row and press the middle button to select as well as there being Netflix, Youtube, Prime video and google play buttons underneath the main selection buttons.

Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

The living room has Dyson heaters unit to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.
Operating our heater is a breeze! To start, simply press the lower button once. The default temperature will display on the top screen.
Use the grey remote for further accessibility. By pressing the "+" button you will increase the heat and the "-" button to decrease it.
Need to adjust the speed? Just press the speed logo button until you reach your desired setting. Enjoy personalised warmth at your fingertips!

KITCHEN
Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

Our main home comes with a Smeg oven which is perfect for home cooked meals. Please see the instructions below on how to use the oven.
The right knob is for setting the temperature of the oven. Simply move the knob for the desired temperature
The knob on the Left is to set the oven to the setting in which you wish to cook. For example, fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, etc and all your choices will appear on the middle screen.

Our main home comes with a 4-burner induction stove that is extremely easy to use and operate.
In order to use this, simply hold the power button for 3 seconds. This is located at the bottom in the middle.
Once it is powered on you can set the level on the plus minus buttons located on either side and is designed to identify which burner it is for.
Please note that when using our induction stove, please ensure that the pot or pan is placed on the stove before turning it on. Induction stoves require the presence of cookware on the cooking zone to function. This is because the stove needs to read which zone is covered before it can generate heat. Without the proper cookware in place, the stove won't work.

Our kitchen comes complete with a Nespresso Machine and milk frother, perfect for the perfect cup in the morning. Getawayz NSW will provide you with ample coffee pods throughout your stay. If you prefer milk coffee over black coffee, you will need to provide your own milk for your stay.
On departure, if the coffee pods are running low, please advise us and we will make sure to replace these for the next guests.

Other than turning on the Nespresso Machine at the powerpoint, the first thing to do is make sure there is enough water in the machine to make your desired coffee.
On the top of the Nespresso machine, there are two buttons to make coffee (the left is for short black, and right is for long black). Behind this is the switch to power the machine. Simply press this down and it will turn on the machine. The buttons mentioned above will flash until ready to be used.
Simply place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. This will make your coffee.
Please remember to not overfill the pod tray.

Operating our SMEG microwave is a straightforward process. Begin by looking the right hand side of the door to access various modes. Select your desired mode and close the door securely. When you're ready to start, simply press the start button located in the bottom right corner.

Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

Our home comes with an internal laundry for you to use whilst you stay with us. The washing machine is located on your first left after entering the house.
Open the drawer located on the far left and insert the washing powder or detergent into the left tray and close.
To use the machine turn it on with the power button at the left.
To chose from the programs simply twist the knob to your desired programs for washing.
On the right hand side, you can see around the screen different options for the cycle you have selected, including wash temp, water level and spin speed.
To start the cycle, simply press the start/pause button located on the left of the power button.

Our home comes with a dryer for you to use throughout your stay. It’s one of the easiest white goods in the home to use.
Simply turn the dial to switch on. Turn the dial to your selected program, press the start/pause button on the far right of the dryer’s door and the dryer will do the rest!
If using this multiple times throughout your stay, please make sure to empty the lint filter after each use!

Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.
Please be mindful to use the range hood in the kitchen, and to abide by the ‘no-smoking’ house rule.
There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the sink, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.
In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone
Please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is of utmost importance!

The power is linked to the main building, call Ausgrid Hotline on 13 13 88 which will let you know the suburbs that have been affected, the duration (approx) of the outage. You will need to provide the postcode, which is 2026.
You may also check the Ausgrid Website to check for any known outages in the area.
If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

The bins are located at the end of the right side driveway (not the garage one) and then turn left at the building corner.
The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.
Bins are collected Wednesday morning, so we ask that you leave these out on a Tuesday evening and collect these from the street if you are staying on Wednesday. If you are checking out on Tuesday, our housekeeping and styling team will collect these on your behalf.
If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.
