We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

House Rules
LIVING ROOM
Our home features open-plan living room, dining and kitchen. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

Netflix - Woo! It’s completely free for you to use, the password is Valdimah1. There are plenty of games scattered around the apartment which are free for you to use as well!

To use the lights and fans that are in the bedrooms, you will need to use the remote control that is attached to the wall and next to the switch.
KITCHEN
Our kitchen is well stocked and comes with all the utensils you need to cook meals at home! We ask that you take good care of any of the items in the kitchen. We know mistakes can happen, so if anything breaks, please let us know so we can replace these for you and/or our next guests!

Our home comes with a Bellini Oven for you to use. Please see the directions on how to use the oven:
There are three dials on the oven. The middle left one is for the function you wish to use (fan force, grill, bake, etc).
The far left hand dial is for the desired heat you wish the oven to be set to.
The far right dial controls the timer.
Please make sure to turn the dial back to the “0” and push both knobs in after use, as this will turn off the oven. This is located on the middle dial.

Our home comes fitted with a 4 burner electric stove. The stove will remain hot for at least 5 minutes after use / it’s been turned off.

There is a Nespresso Coffee Machine on the bench in the kitchen. Getawayz will provide you with coffee pods for your stay. Please note that if you are a heavy coffee drinker (like James, he can drink 4 – 5 cups a day), you may want to bring some extras down with you.
To operate the machine, please follow these instructions:
The first step is to make sure that you have water in the back of the machine. If the machine isn’t working, this is usually the reason why! Make sure to load the back of the machine up with water. Our housekeepers will make sure it’s full for you on arrival.
Above the ‘Nespresso’ sign is the ‘ON’ button. Make sure to turn this on and wait a few minutes for the machine to heat up.
Once the machine has heated, simply select the desired coffee you are after (Espresso, Long Black, Latte, etc). If you have selected a milk base coffee, make sure there is milk in the machine and the tube is pointing into the cup!
If you are looking to just heat/froth milk, simply switch the dial and this will start frothing the milk for you. Once you have made a coffee with milk, make sure to hit the “clean” button afterwards!
Once finished with the machine, make sure to empty the used capsules from the machine and empty into the bin, on the left-hand side of the sink!

Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

We have made sure that fire alarms are installed in all rooms. Our apartment is strictly no smoking and smoking indoors will cause these to go off. If the fire alarms are triggered, the fire service will be automatically called and you will be liable for the penalty / fee. The kitchen alarm is very sensitive to smoke and heat, so please be extremely careful and use the rangehood provided.

The fuse box at this property is located In the kitchen’s top right cupboard.
Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown, or been switched to “off”.
If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage.
Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.
We would recommend either:
Using the Ausgrid Website to check for any known outages in the area.
Or call their hotline number: 13 13 88 to report an outage.
If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

Can you please take the rubbish out to the bins on the street of Springfield Ave. These are for the building to use and the council collects them every 10 hours.
The general rubbish bins have red lids. You can place your rubbish in any. Do not leave your rubbish on the street, as you may get a fine and it’s not a good look! All rubbish bins in Potts Point are emptied daily.
