Thank you for choosing to stay at Reflections. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

LIVING ROOM
Our living space greets you and your family with stunning views of the harbour bridge perfect for the Sydney New Year Eve fireworks. All the living room features can be located below.

Our apartment comes with a Samsung 70 inches Framework.
The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol.
To select between different applications simply scroll around and press the middle button to select your preferred streaming platform.

Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use
Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

There is a plug-in fan kept behind the TV for you to use. This, along with the one in the bedroom is provided for your stay to make you as comfortable as possible.

There is an electric heater provided for you in the living room, behind the TV. We ask that you are careful with using this on the carpet areas of our home.
KITCHEN
Our kitchen is well stocked and comes with all the utensils you need to cook meals at home! We ask that you take good care of any of the items in the kitchen. We know mistakes can happen, so if anything breaks, please let us know so we can replace these for you and/or our next guests!

Our home comes with a 60cm Miele Oven for you to use. Please see the directions on how to use the oven:
There are two dials on the oven. The left one is for the function you wish to use (fan force, grill, bake, etc).
The right hand dial is for the desired heat you wish the oven to be set to.
The screen in the middle of the oven will display the function and the heat.
Please make sure to turn the dial back to the “0” after use, as this will turn off the oven. This is located on the left hand dial.

Our home comes fitted with a 4 burner Westinghouse electric stove. Please see the instructions on how to operate the stovetop:
The stove is touch operated. On the bottom of the right burner, there is the “On/Off” button. Simply hold this until you hear a beep and the lights for the stove turn on.
There are “+ -” buttons to control the heat for each burner. Simply select the burner you wish to use and the desired heat.
SUPER IMPORTANT - This is an electric stove and will stay hot for at least 10 minutes after use. Please make sure you do not touch this and keep children away from the stove after use!
Please be aware that after use, the electric stove will retain its heat for approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

Our kitchen comes complete with a Delonghi Nespresso Machine, perfect for the perfect cup in the morning. Getawayz NSW will provide you with ample coffee pods throughout your stay. If you prefer milk coffee over black coffee, you will need to provide your own milk for your stay.
On departure, if the coffee pods are running low, please advise us and we will make sure to replace these for the next guests.

Other than turning on the Nespresso Machine at the powerpoint, the first thing to do is make sure there is enough water in the machine to make your desired coffee.
On the top of the Nespresso machine, there are two buttons to make coffee (the left is for short black, and right is for long black). Behind this is the switch to power the machine. Simply press this down and it will turn on the machine. The buttons mentioned above will flash until ready to be used.
Simply place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. This will make your coffee.
Please remember to not overfill the pod tray.

Our apartment comes equipped with a integrated Bosch Dishwasher. This is the cupboard on the right hand side of the sink. Please see the following instructions on how to use the dishwasher:
Once you have opened the dishwasher, you will see the “ON” button inside the dishwasher. Please press the on button to activate the dishwasher.
Next to the ‘ON’ button you will find the different modes (super, eco etc.)
Choose your selected mode and time and press start then close the dishwasher for it to run.
other amenities
Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.
Please be mindful to use the range hood in the kitchen, and to abide by the ‘no-smoking’ house rule.
There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the sink, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.
In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone.
Please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is of utmost importance!

The fuse box at this property is located outside on the right hand side of the apartment.
Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown, or been switched to “off”.
If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage.
Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.
We would recommend either:
Using the Ausgrid Website to check for any known outages in the area.
Or call their hotline number: 13 13 88 to report an outage.
If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

The bins for the building are located behind the wooden door, on the pathway to either the left (if entering the building) or right (if you are to exit the building).
We ask that you please remove the rubbish from the apartment before you leave.
The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.
Bins are collected Wednesday morning, so we ask that you leave these out on a Tuesday evening (if you are staying on a Tuesday night) and collect these from the street if you are staying on Wednesday. If you are checking out on Wednesday, our housekeeping and styling team will collect these on your behalf.
If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

Our apartment comes with an LG Intellowasher washing machine. This is located between the bathroom and the main bedroom. Please see the following instructions on how to use the washing machine:
To turn the washing machine on, press the power button which is the small grey button to the left of the dial in the middle of the machine.
Pull open the drawer at the top left of the machine and pour in desired washing powder/liquid.
To select an option please spin the dial on the front of the washing machine to your desired mode (Quick 30, Cotton, Rinse+Spin etc.)
Once the dial is on the mode you would like to use, press in the dial to select this mode.
Once the mode is selected and washing powder/liquid is in the machine you can then press the start button. Which is the small grey button to the right of the dial with the (Play/Pause) symbols on it.
Please ensure that you power off the washing machine after using.

Our apartment comes with a SIMPSON 4kg Dryer machine. This is located right above the washing machine. Please see below the instructions on how to use the dryer:
To use the dryer all you will need to do is turn the dial on the bottom let of the machine ‘CLOCKWISE’ to the desired time you would like it for (120, 90, 60 etc).
Once the dial is on the selected time, please slide the little tab that is located to the right of the dial to the right. This will start up the dryer. When finished please put the dial on ‘off’ and pull the tab back to the left.
