Thank you for choosing to stay at South Beach House. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

House Rules

LIVING ROOM

As you first open the door to South Beach, you are greeted by our open-plan dining, living and kitchen room. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

  • Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

  • South Beach House comes with a power system for heating and cooling. It’s perfect for the chilly Winter nights, as well as those toasty Summer days.

    The location of the switch for the system is located on the right side of the living room’s TV in front of the kitchen. It’s the control system with the dial and the LED screen.

    Operating the system is very easy, please see the instructions below:

    • The yellow button will turn on the system, with the LED screen showing the preset temperature and the power to indicate this was on.

    • The set temp bottom of the system will allow you to turn the temperature either up or down. To see the temperature you have set, you can locate this at the top of the screen.

    • The Mode button will indicate the mode you have selected (heat, cool, dry, etc). The mode you have selected will be displayed at the top left corner of the screen.

    For the heat setting, we recommend this to be set at 22-23 degrees, and for cooling we recommend this to be set between 18-20 degrees.

  • One of the highlights and centrepieces of our living room is the fireplace that adds a touch of coziness and character to the space. This lovely feature will warm the ambiance of your stay, but please remember, it's all about aesthetics and should not be used for actual fires.

  • Our living room comes with an Samsung Smart TV. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.

    • The remote labelled “SAMSUNG” will operate the tv.

    • The "Home" button, which is situated in the middle of the remote and is drawn as a house, is the main way of navigating between streaming services such as Netflix, Stan, Amazon prime etc when the TV is turned on.

    • You can access the Blu-ray player by pressing the "Source" button on the remote's upper right corner; the player will switch on immediately once you make your selection.

    • The official e-manual can be found under the support area of the TV's settings choices if you need further in-depth instructions.

    Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

KITCHEN

Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

  • Our house comes with a 90cm Smeg oven which is perfect for home-cooked meals. Please see the instructions below on how to use the oven.

    The knobs on the far left controls the degrees and the control functions (fan force, grill, oven bake, etc)

    All the knobs on the right-hand side are for gas. Simply hold down and turn to the right and this will allow you to turn on the gas.

    INDUCTION GAS STOVE

    Our main home comes with a 6-burner gas stove that is extremely easy to use and operate.

    In order to use this, simply hold the knob down and turn to the left to get the desired heat level you are after

    Once done, please make sure the knob is back to the right as far as possible to make sure gas doesn’t leak

  • Our home comes with a Valencia Dishwasher. We ask that you make sure all the dishes and kitchen items are run in our dishwasher prior to your departure.

    The Getawayz NSW team will leave ample dishwashing tablets for you to use. If we are running low, please advise us and we will replace these for the next guests.

    The instructions on how to use the dishwasher are below:

    • Simply press the On/Off button on the far right to switch on the dishwasher; a red light will appear above the button to indicate that it is turned on.

    • Next to the on/off button, you will see the different modes for cleaning. On departure, we ask that you use the “Quick 60” cycle as well as the extra dry button, located on the right. Our housekeeping & styling specialists will thank you for this!

  • Our kitchen comes complete with a Delonghi Nespresso Machine and milk frother, perfect for the perfect cup in the morning. Getawayz NSW will provide you with ample coffee pods throughout your stay. If you prefer milk coffee over black coffee, you will need to provide your own milk for your stay.

    On departure, if the coffee pods are running low, please advise us and we will make sure to replace these for the next guests.

    Please see the instructions on how to use the Nespresso Machine below:

    • Other than turning on the Nespresso Machine at the powerpoint, the first thing to do is make sure there is enough water in the machine to make your desired coffee.

    • On the top of the Nespresso machine, there are two buttons to make coffee (the left is for short black, and right is for long black). Behind this is the switch to power the machine. Simply press this down and it will turn on the machine. The buttons mentioned above will flash until ready to be used.

    • Simply place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. This will make your coffee.

    • Please remember to not overfill the pod tray.

  • Our main home comes with a SAMSUNG microwave which is great for reheating or defrosting meals.

    Here are the instructions on how to operate the microwave:

    • When you choose an immediate cooking programme or hit one of the digits in the main pad on the right side, it switches on automatically.

    • The time remaining before the meal is cooked will be displayed on the screen's top right side once the programme has been activated.

laundry facilities

You are welcome to wash and dry your clothes in this home. Detergent and/or washing powder has been provided for you.

A washing machine is available for us:

  • Our home comes with a front loader Fisher and Paykel washing machine for you to use throughout your stay. Getawayz NSW will provide you with washing powder for you to use. Please see below how to operate the washing machine:

    On the top left of the machine you will see the power button. Simply hold for 3 seconds to turn the machine on/off

    Under the “smart touch cycles” you will see all the different programs you can select for washing. Simply select the one you are wishing to use.

    From there, you can see different options for the cycle you have selected, including wash temp, water level and spin speed.

    To start the cycle, simply press the start/pause button.

  • Our home comes with an Electrolux dryer for you to use throughout your stay. It’s one of the easiest white goods in the home to use.

    To begin, simply press the on/off button located on the machine's far right side. Select the program that you wish with the program button then press start and the dryer will do the rest!

    If using this multiple times throughout your stay, please make sure to empty the lint filter after each use!

other amenities

Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

  • Our Gas BBQ is located on the lower level of our outdoor entertaining area and is perfect for family entertaining.

    We provide a gas bottle which will be connected for you throughout your stay and there will be a replacement bottle located on the left side of the fridge inside the garage if you need to switch this over.

    If you do replace the gas, please let Getawayz NSW know and we will make sure to change this over when you have departed.

    We ask if you use the BBQ, this must be cleaned prior to your departure. If this is not done, an additional $50 surcharge will be charged from the bond or claimed via the platform you have booked the home.

  • The fuse box at this property is located on the left hand side (when looking at the front of the property from the street), behind the gas bottles.

    Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on”.

    If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage.

    Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.

    We would recommend either:

    Using the Endevour Energy website to check for any known outages in the area.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • The bins are located on the right side of the property facing, which is next to the main entrance of the property.

    The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.

    Bins are collected Tuesdays morning, so we ask that you leave these out on a Monday evening (if you are staying on a Monday night) and collect these from the street if you are staying on Tuesday. If you are checking out on another day, our housekeeping and styling team will collect these on your behalf.

    If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    • Please email us at guests@getawayz.com.au for any enquiries during business hours.

    • Alternatively, you can contact us via your booking platform.

    • For issues during your stay, please call us on 0480 801 294.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.

  • Step into your master bedroom retreat, where a sunny balcony reveals mesmerizing ocean views. Enjoy entertainment on the Smart TV with a full guide at your fingertips, just like in the living room.

    AIR CONDITIONING

    When it comes to keeping your comfort paramount, our easy-to-use air conditioning system is a game-changer. A quick press of the green "On/Off" button in the middle of the remote activates it, allowing you to effortlessly adjust the temperature with the right-side buttons. Your selected settings will elegantly display on the main screen at the top of the remote, ensuring that your climate control is as effortless as it is effective.

  • Step into the Ocean Breeze bedroom, where the sunny balcony unveils a breathtaking ocean view. Wake up to the sound of waves and endless horizons every morning. This is coastal living at its finest.

    AIR CONDITIONING

    Our user-friendly air conditioning system is a game-changer when it comes to making your comfort a top priority. You can easily change the temperature using the right-side buttons by quickly pressing the green "On/Off" button in the middle of the remote. Your chosen settings will be displayed on the remote' screen, making it easy to maintain an enjoyable atmosphere.

  • The third-floor first bedroom provides an LG smart TV and Yamaha 360-degree speakers that sync up with the TV's sound once it is turned on. The middle house button on the remote can be used to enter the menu. Move the remote facing the screen to turn on the digital arrow and press the middle button to select the options wished.

    Any other electronic device can be plugged into the speakers through Bluetooth, USB, or AUX and activated by selecting one of the choices on the Yamaha remote control. 

  • Welcome to our bedroom side retreat, a serene and inviting space that seamlessly combines comfort and functionality. Here, you'll find a cozy working desk, offering a realxing spot for productivity or creative inspiration. With a view of the charming house-side scenery just outside your window, you can enjoy a refreshing change of perspective.

  • This generously spacious haven not only offers ample room to unwind and recharge but also features a private en-suite bathroom for your ultimate convenience. Sink into relaxation as you enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the TCL Smart TV, ensuring that entertainment is just a click away. To access all the abilities, hit the menu button in the remote's corner on the left. The television is powered by Google Chrome, and by connecting to your Google account using the settings button, you may access other streaming services like YouTube and Google Movies.

    However, what truly sets this bedroom apart is the seamless connection it shares with the adjoining kids' bedroom. It's a tranquil haven for parents, yet a nurturing space where you can easily keep an eye on your little ones.

  • Step into the Kids' bedroom, this spacious haven is thoughtfully crafted to accommodate up to 10 kids, offering ample room for playdates and creative adventures. Whether they're engaging in fun-filled games or enjoying educational content on the Sony Smart TV, every moment here is a delightful journey of exploration
