LIVING ROOM
Welcome to the enchanting world of Applegarth Cottage, where elegance meets comfort. Upon stepping inside, you'll be captivated by our unique fireplace, creating an awe-inspiring ambiance in the main area.

Our home comes with a TLC 55” smart TV
The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol.
To select between different applications simply scroll around and press the middle button to select your preferred streaming platform.

Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out..

The living room has Dyson heaters unit to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home.
Operating our heater is a breeze! To start, simply press the lower button once. The default temperature will display on the top screen.
Use the grey remote for further accessibility. By pressing the "+" button you will increase the heat and the "-" button to decrease it.
Need to adjust the speed? Just press the speed logo button until you reach your desired setting. Enjoy personalised warmth at your fingertips!

One of the highlights and centrepieces of our living room is the slow-burning combustion fireplace. Getawayz NSW will provide you with enough kindling, firestarters and firewood for your stay.
On arrival, the fireplace will be set for you and there will be a fire lighting torch in the basket with the spare firefighters, kindling and wood. Simply set the fire and you will be toasty and warm in no time.
We kindly ask that you do not remove the ash from the fireplace throughout your stay, if you can simply re-set a new fire ontop of this. Our housekeeping and styling team will look after this during the changeover.
On the departure of your stay, if you can let us know if any of these amenities are running low, we would highly appreciate this. We will replace these for the next guests to use.
KITCHEN
Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

Our main home comes with an Ariston oven which is perfect for home cooked meals. Please see the instructions below on how to use the oven.
The oven is controlled by the two knobs one on right side and the other on the left side.
The knob on the left operates the different modes. This is to set the oven or grill to the setting in which you wish to cook. For example, fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, etc.
The knob on the right operates the oven temperature. Turn the knob to the desired temperature to heat up the oven.

Our main home comes with a 5-burner gas & electric stove that is extremely easy to use and operate.
In order to use this, simply hold the knob down and turn to the left to get the desired heat level you are after
Once done, please make sure the knob is back to the right as far as possible to make sure gas doesn’t leak
The knob on the far right controls the electric stove's heat intensity up to 10.

Our kitchen comes with a Delonghi Nespresso Machine and a milk frother. Getawayz NSW will provide you with ample coffee pods throughout your stay. If you prefer milk coffee over black coffee, you will need to provide your own milk for your stay.
On departure, if the coffee pods are running low, please advise us and we will make sure to replace these for the next guests.

Other than turning on the Nespresso Machine at the powerpoint, the first thing to do is make sure there is enough water in the machine to make your desired coffee.
First step is to make sure there is enough water in the plastic clear container behind the machine. The Nespresso Machine is located on the left side of the sink.
To insert the coffee pod/capsule (regular sizes) lift the lever at the top front of the machine.
There are two buttons on the Nespresso Machine. One for a shot of coffee (short black) and on the right, one for a long black. You can press either button to turn on the machine.
It will blink for 25 secs while it’s heating up and when lights are steady that means it’s ready!

Our home comes with a Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher. We ask that you make sure all the dishes and kitchen items are run in our dishwasher prior to your departure.
The Getawayz NSW team will leave ample dishwashing tablets for you to use. If we are running low, please advise us and we will replace these for the next guests.
The instructions on how to use the dishwasher are below:
Simply press the On/Off button on the right to switch on the dishwasher.
Next to the on/off button, you will see the different modes for cleaning. On departure, we ask that you use the “Quick 60” cycle as well as the extra dry button, located on the right. Our housekeeping & styling specialists will thank you for this!
Select your preferred cleaning method by pressing the button with an arrow logo.
By pressing the button on the far right, which has a "play/pause" logo above it, last, you can start the dishwasher.

Operating our Panasonic microwave is a straightforward process. Begin by opening the door to access various modes. Select your desired mode and close the door securely. When you're ready to start, simply press the start button located in the bottom right corner.

Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Experience personalised climate control in every bedroom! Each room is equipped with the same Dyson air control system found in the living room. For detailed instructions, please refer to the section dedicated to the living room.
SMART TV
Our two double main bedrooms are equiped with a 55 inches SMART TV.
Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.
There is once smart remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol, located top right of the main selection button.
To select between different applications simply scroll along the bottom row and press the middle button to select as well as there being Netflix, Youtube, Prime video and google play buttons underneath the main selection buttons.

A fire pit is available for your use. Wood, kindling, and matches are all supplied in the outdoor storage.
Please build fires responsibly, and do not operate when the weather is extremely hot, dry, or windy.
Please do not leave a burning fire unattended.
Do not create a fire if a total fire ban has been put in place by the local government.

Meet our Matador BBQ, located on our outdoor entertaining area and is perfect for family entertaining.
Operating it is as easy as holding and turning the knob to the left. The left knob ensures even overall cooking, while the right one one masters the art of grilling. For additional lighting instructions, check the attached guide located conveniently on the right-hand side of the BBQ.
We provide a gas bottle which will be connected for you throughout your stay and there will be a spare located in the garage of the home if you need to switch this over.
If you do replace the gas, please let Getawayz NSW know and we will make sure to change this over when you have departed.
We ask if you use the BBQ, this must be cleaned prior to your departure. If this is not done, an additional $50 surcharge will be charged from the bond or claimed via the platform you have booked the home,

Introducing our advanced LG washing machine, designed for effortless laundry days.
To start, simply press the power button located on the right side.
Once powered on, select your desired settings with ease.
In the middle panel, choose the temperature, water level, spin, and rinse options by pressing the corresponding buttons.
For added convenience, the machine offers preset programs. Just press one of the two program buttons, and your clothes will be washed in the best settings tailored for different fabrics and loads.

Our user-friendly Simpson dryer, will simplify your laundry routine. Operating it is a breeze: turn the knob on the right side to select your desired drying time. Once your cycle is set, close the door securely by pressing the white button located on the right side of the door.

The bins are located on the left side of the property facing it at the bottom of the driveway in front of the master bedroom’s window.
The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.
Bins are collected based on the following calendar here
If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

The fuse box at this property is located In the laundry in front of the washing machine.
Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown, or been switched to “off”.
If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage.
Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.
We would recommend either:
Using the Endevour Energy website to check for any known outages in the area.

If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.
