LIVING ROOM

Upon opening the door to White Waters, you'll be welcomed by a picturesque pool and its serene surroundings. Beyond, our dining, living, and kitchen areas unfold, all boasting a breathtaking ocean view. Here are the key highlights on operating the main features of our living room.

  • Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

  • Our living room comes with a LG Smart TV which has access to free to air TV as well as an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.

    There is one smart remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.

    When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol, located top right of the main selection button.

    To select between different applications simply scroll along the bottom row and press the middle button to select as well as there being Netflix, Youtube, Prime video and google play buttons underneath the main selection buttons.

    Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

  • Our home is equipped with a power ducted system for both heating and cooling, ideal for ensuring comfort during chilly Winter nights and warm Summer days.

    The switch for the ducted system is conveniently located on the right side wall after entering the home.

    Operating the system is straightforward; follow these instructions:

    Press the top right button to activate the system; a green LED will indicate that the system is active.

    Use the up and down buttons in the middle to adjust the temperature. The set temperature will be displayed on the right side of the screen.

    The top left button indicates the selected mode (heat, cool, dry, etc.), which will be displayed on the left side of the screen.

    Please remember to turn off the ducted system when leaving the home for extended periods. The system is highly efficient and takes approximately 10 minutes to achieve the desired temperature.

    For heating, we recommend setting it at 22-23 degrees, and for cooling, we suggest a setting between 18-20 degrees.

  • One of the highlights and centrepieces of our living room is the fireplace. Getawayz NSW will provide you with enough kindling, firestarters and firewood for your stay.

    On arrival, the fireplace will be set for you and there will be a fire lighting torch in the basket with the spare firefighters, kindling and wood. Simply set the fire and you will be toasty and warm in no time.

    We kindly ask that you do not remove the ash from the fireplace throughout your stay, if you can simply re-set a new fire ontop of this. Our housekeeping and styling team will look after this during the changeover.

    On the departure of your stay, if you can let us know if any of these amenities are running low, we would highly appreciate this. We will replace these for the next guests to use.

  • The home features the latest gaming console, a Playstation 5. To turn it on, simply press the PS button on the game controller. It should automatically activate the TV on the correct channel, but if not, use the TV remote to navigate through HDMI sources until the PS5 HUD appears on the screen.

  • There is a vintage record player in the living room that our guests are free to use and enjoy!

    Please see the instructions below on how to turn this on:

    1. To turn on the speakers, use the Black and grey remote. To turn them on press the power button on the top left of the remote.

    2. For the record player to function press “line/bal” and for the phone connection press “USB”. There are adaptors for Apple lightening and USB-C. The record player is “Line” not “balance”

    3. There is a very small screen on the right-hand speaker where you can see the mode selected. The + and - buttons on the remote control the volume.

    4. The record player has a power button on the back next to the power cable. Button in is on and button out is off.

    5. Remove the black clip to keep the tonearm in place and move it to the edge of the record. Be very careful with the needle.

    6. Turn the switch to 3S and music should be played. Please turn to STOP before lifting the tonearm.

    7. If there is no sound, ensure the speaker is set to “line” mode and check if the silver lever is down.

    8. Please don’t touch any dials etc as we have set the record player to work correctly. Please ensure that the Speaker and Record Player are turned off when finished using them.

    As this is a vintage set, we ask our guests to treat this with care as they would with their own belongings!

KITCHEN

Our home features a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for family meals when you prefer a cozy night in. Here are the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

  • Here are the instructions for using the Bosch oven in our main home, perfect for your home-cooked meals:

    To turn on the oven, press the far-left button labeled on/off.

    Use the silver scroll wheel around the middle screen to select your desired cooking setting, such as fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, etc.

    Set the temperature by pressing the thermometer button towards the bottom right of the scroll wheel. Utilize the same silver scroll wheel around the middle screen to adjust the temperature. Your chosen temperature will be displayed on the screen. Move the knob right to increase the temperature and left to decrease.

    To start cooking, press the Start/Stop button on the far right.

  • Our main home is equipped with a user-friendly 4-burner gas stove. To use it:

    Hold down the knob and turn it to the left to achieve your desired heat level.

    When finished, ensure the knob is turned back to the right as far as possible to prevent gas leakage.

  • Our home features a Bosch Dishwasher located on the right-hand side of the sink. Here are the instructions on how to use it:

    Open the dishwasher and locate the "ON" button situated on the far left. Press the "ON" button to activate the dishwasher.

    Next to the "ON" button, you'll find different modes. Choose your desired mode.

    Press the "Start" button on the far right, and close the dishwasher to initiate the cycle.

  • Every Getawayz home is equipped with a Nespresso machine and milk frother. Complimentary coffee pods are provided for your visit.

    When using the Nespresso machine:

    Ensure the machine has adequate water, and is turned on at the powerpoint.

    There are buttons to make different sized coffees on the top of the machine. After turning the machine on, these buttons will flash until the machine is ready for use.

    When ready, place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. Then press the button corresponding to your desired size of coffee.

    Please regularly empty out the discarded pods from the machine.

    If you prefer milk in your coffee, we request that you supply your own milk for your visit.

  • The property provides a Bosch washing machine for your use during your stay. Washing powder will be supplied by Getawayz NSW. Here's how to operate the washing machine:

    Open the drawer on the far left, insert the washing powder or detergent into the left tray, and then close the drawer.

    To power on the machine, turn the dial to your selected program. When turning off the machine, twist the knob back to "off."

    On the right-hand side, you'll find various options for the cycle you've selected, including wash temperature, water level, and spin speed.

    To start the cycle, simply press the start/pause button located at the far right-hand side.

  • Our home is equipped with a Bosch dryer, one of the easiest white goods to use. Here's a simple guide:

    To power on the machine, turn the dial to your selected program. When turning off the machine, twist the knob back to "off."

    On the right-hand side, you'll find different options for the cycle you've selected.

    To start the cycle, press the start/pause button located at the far right-hand side.

    For multiple uses during your stay, please remember to empty the lint filter and water drawer after each use.

Our home features a fully equipped pool for your comfort during the hot Australian summer. Here are the main highlights on how to operate our pool.

  • Please note that the presence of glass around the pool area is strictly prohibited. If our pool maintenance team discovers any glass during their regular checks, charges may apply for draining the pool and collecting all glass. Such charges could potentially amount to the entire bond paid for the home.

    For your convenience, we have supplied plastic glassware for use around the pool. If you plan to enjoy beverages such as champagne that come in glass containers, kindly pour them into the provided plastic glasses before taking them to the pool area. Your cooperation ensures a safe and enjoyable pool experience.

  • Please be aware that Getawayz NSW and the property owners assume no liability for any accidents occurring in or around the pool area. The booking holder accepts full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or harm resulting from the use of the pool. This responsibility extends to all individuals, including children and adults, and covers incidents related to intoxication. Your understanding and adherence to safety guidelines are appreciated.

  • Emergency contact details and first aid supplies are located in the pool area. In the event of a serious accident, please call 000 immediately. Our address is available on the booking confirmation and check-in instructions email for reference. Your safety is our top priority, and we appreciate your prompt action in case of emergencies.

  • The home has a projector installed for our guests to enjoy watching in the pool area!

    Please see the instructions below on how to use this:

    1. Projector screen - You will find it easier to pull down the screen on the poolside of the fence - pull it down (side is fine) and attach it to the screw at the bottom.

    2. Put the projector on the stand on the post in front of the couch on the left-hand side. We have put velcro on the projector and the post which will make sure the projector is in the correct position.

    3. The projector has a built-in battery - so charging it before use is the easiest option but if you forget to charge there is a power point next to the couch and the power cable is in the case. Please hook the cable onto the hook when charging.

    4. Disney, Prime, Stan and Binge are all installed but Netflix does not support the projector so please select “desktop manager” then Netflix (web) at the bottom left to use Netflix.

    5. ***IMPORTANT*** Please don’t use the projector in high winds or rain.

    6. We have preset all these settings, but if the projector loses its screen setting, please go to Settings on the top right then projector settings, then click screen zoom and set it to the 4th line closest to maximum zoom. Then click manual keystone correction and adjust each corner.

    We ask our guests to treat this with respect and care as you would with your own belongings!

  • SMART TV

    Our bedrooms are furnished with LG Smart TVs providing access to free-to-air TV and a variety of smart apps. For instructions, please refer to the guidelines mentioned in the living room section under the Smart TV instructions.

    AIR CONDITIONING

    When it comes to keeping your comfort paramount, our easy-to-use air conditioning system is a game-changer. A quick press of the green "On/Off" button in the middle of the remote activates it, allowing you to effortlessly adjust the temperature with the right-side buttons. Your selected settings will elegantly display on the main screen at the top of the remote, ensuring that your climate control is as effortless as it is effective.

  • Our home is equipped with a Tesla charger, offering convenient charging for visitors with compatible electric vehicles.

  • Our Gas BBQ is situated in the pool area next to the entrance, offering an ideal space for family entertaining.

    We provide a connected gas bottle for your use throughout your stay, and there's a spare located on the left side of the home in case of a need to switch it over.

    If you replace the gas, please inform Getawayz NSW, and we'll ensure it's switched back when you depart.

    Kindly note that if you use the BBQ, it must be cleaned before your departure. Failure to do so will result in an additional $50 surcharge, charged from the bond or claimed via the platform through which you booked the home.

  • The fuse box for this property is located on the side of the home.

    If you experience a power outage, please follow these steps:

    Check the fuses in the fuse box and switch all to the "on" position if one has blown or been switched to "off."

    The key to access the fuse box is hanging above the black power point, in the cupboard by the record player.

    A torch is available in the laundry (middle door of the pantry), on the trolley next to the washer and dryer.

    If all switches are on and the issue persists, it might be a local power outage.

    Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.

    We would recommend either:

    Using the Endevour Energy website to check for any known outages in the area.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • We've stocked spare light bulbs and batteries in the top drawer of the island bench-top for your convenience. If you notice the light bulbs or batteries running low, please inform us at guests@getawayz.com.au, and we'll promptly replace them upon your departure.

  • The bins are located on the right side of the property facing it.

    We kindly request your cooperation in separating waste properly. The yellow bin is designated for recycling, and the red bin is for general rubbish.

    For efficient waste collection:

    Bin Collection: Every Wednesday morning, please leave the bins out on Tuesday evening if you're staying overnight. If checking out on Wednesday, our team will handle bin collection.

    Non-compliance Reminder: To avoid any inconvenience, we'll send a friendly reminder the evening before collection. Failure to follow the instructions may result in a $100 surcharge, deducted from the bond or the platform through which you booked.

    Thank you for your understanding and assistance in maintaining a clean environment.

  • The house is equipped with several exterior cameras on the waterside of the property and a Ring camera. These cameras are in place for the security of the property as well as our guests. We can assure our guests that they will not breach the privacy of the inside of the home.

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    • Please email us at guests@getawayz.com.au for any enquiries during business hours.

    • Alternatively, you can contact us via your booking platform.

    • For issues during your stay, please call us on 0480 801 294.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
