The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

Living Space

  • This home comes with high-speed wifi, perfect for all your digital needs:

    Should it need a reset, the internet dongle is located in the kitchen (on the shelves, to the left of the firewood nook). Turn off at the powerpoint, count to 10, then turn it back on and try re-connecting your device.

  • Both of our living rooms comes with TCL Smart TVs which has access to an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.

    There is one smart remote for each TV. The remote has a red symbol this will turn the tv on/off.

    Simply choose the application you prefer to watch!

    Please also note:

    • Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    • Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

  • The home comes with portable fans and heaters to keep you and your guests comfortable during your stay!

  • One of the highlights of our living room and kitchen is the slow-burning combustion fireplace.

    You will find firewood and fire starters on both sides of the fireplace.

    There is a power point in the pantry which turns on the fan that circulates the heat from the fire (thoughout the house).

    We kindly ask that you do not remove the ash from the fireplace throughout your stay. Our housekeeping and styling team will look after this during the changeover.

KITCHEN

Our home features a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing family meals in the comfort of your stay. Here, we highlight key instructions for operating our kitchen efficiently.

  • Euromaid Gas Stovetop

    Please see the instructions below on how to use the stove.

    The knobs at the bottom have an indicator next to it to show which knob controls which burner. Simply hold down the knob and turn to the left until the flam ignites.

    You may refer to the User Manual for more information.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: One of the burners do not work, but all 4 other burners are working perfectly fine.

    Miele Oven

    The knob on the far left is to set the temperature and the right knob is to choose the setting in which you wish to cook. For example, fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, etc and all your choices will appear on the middle screen.

  • Our kitchen comes complete with a Nespresso Machine, perfect for the perfect cup in the morning. Getawayz NSW will provide you with ample coffee pods throughout your stay. If you prefer milk coffee over black coffee, you will need to provide your own milk for your stay.

    Please see the instructions on how to use the Nespresso Machine below:

    Other than turning on the Nespresso Machine at the powerpoint, the first thing to do is make sure there is enough water in the machine to make your desired coffee.

    On the top of the Nespresso machine, there are two buttons to make coffee (the left is for short black, and right is for long black). Behind this is the switch to power the machine. Simply press this down and it will turn on the machine. The buttons mentioned above will flash until ready to be used.

    Simply place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. This will make your coffee.

    Please remember to not overfill the pod tray.

  • This property is equipped with a Bosch automatic dishwasher, with dishwashing tablets, liquid, or powder provided for your convenience.

    • To start, press the on/off button located on the far left side of the dishwasher.

    • Turn the knob on the right side to your desired setting:

    • Setting to the left is for a normal wash

    • Setting at the top is for Eco mode

    • First setting on the right is for quick wash

    • Last setting on the right is for pre-rinse.

    • Press the middle of the knob to start/stop the cycle.

    Before departure, we kindly request that you use the "Quick" cycle. Our housekeeping and styling team will greatly appreciate your cooperation!

    • Limited Capacity: To ensure a personalised experience, we accommodate a maximum of four horses at any given time, fostering a tranquil and exclusive atmosphere.

    • Custom Experiences: Whether you prefer a solo ride or a group excursion, our team can help tailor your cycling experience to ensure you make the most of your stay at Little Plains.

  • You are welcome to wash and dry your clothes in this home. Detergent and/or washing powder has been provided for you.

    The home features a Washing machine and dryer.

    LG WASHING MACHINE

    • Open the drawer located on the far left and insert the washing powder or detergent into the left tray and close.

    • To power on the machine press the on and off button on the bottom left of the knob.

    • To chose from the programs simply twist the knob to your desired programs for washing.

    • You can also use the buttons under the screen to change the temperature.

    • To start the cycle, simply press the start/stop on the bottom left of the knob.

    WHIRLPOOL DRYER

    • To operate the dryer, just turn the knob on the right to your preferred settings.

    • Then, select your desired drying mode. Please see the User Manual for a guide of the cycles.

    • Once you've configured your preferences, simply press the start/pause button to begin the drying cycle.

  • Our Gas BBQ is located on just the back porch and is perfect for family entertaining.

    We provide a gas bottle which will be connected for you throughout your stay.

  • The fuse box is located back up toward the road side gates, on a pole on the right hand side of the turning circle. 

    If the power is not working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all on if one of the fuses has blown or been switched off.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: If all electricals are turned on at once, this may trip the power and you will just need to flip the switches on again at the fusebox.

    Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.

    We would recommend either:

    Using the Essential Energy Website to check for any known outages in the area.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • Upon checkout, we ask that all rubbish from inside the home is taken to the outside bins on the verandah. There are also 3 big wheelie bins in the brick shed for rubbish.

  • FIRE

    Getawayz NSW prioritizes the safety of our guests and conducts regular fire safety inspections in all our properties.

    To ensure safety, kindly use the rangehood in the kitchen and adhere to our strict 'no-smoking' policy within the house premises.

    Please note there is an extinguisher and a blanket in the butlers pantry.
    If used, please inform Getawayz NSW immediately.

    In the event of a fire, please first ensure the safety of all guests and then promptly call the fire department at +000 using your phone.

    Your safety is our top priority, so please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your cooperation is appreciated.

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    • For issues during your stay, please call us on 0480 801 294.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
