Thank you for choosing to stay at the Diamond Head Manor. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

MaIN HOME
LIVING ROOM
Diamond Head Manor features two charming living rooms, perfect for relaxation with entertainment for the whole family. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

PASSWORD: audit42455cpShould you need to reset the wifi, the modem can be found in the first bedroom downstairs, underneath the bedside table.

Our home comes with a ducted heating and cooling system on the upstairs level only.
The control panel for this is located in the main living room on the wall by the hallway. Please follow the instructions below on how to use this:
The on/off button is on the top left corner of the control panel.
Press the mode button underneath to choose the setting you prefer i.e cool, fan, dry, heat, heat auto.
The fan button underneath this controls the speed of the fan
The zone buttons at the button control which rooms have air-conditioning.
IMPORTANT: Since air-conditioning is only available on the upstairs floor, only “Zone 1 & 2” are working. Please do not press the other zones.
Please turn off the airconditioning when leaving the home.
There are also portable heaters for the downstairs bedrooms.

One of the highlights and centrepieces of the first living is the fireplace and firewood that adds a touch of coziness and character to the space. This lovely feature will warm the ambiance of your stay, but please remember, it's all about aesthetics and should not be used for actual fires.

Our living room comes with an Hisense Smart TV which has access to free to air TV as well as an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.
There is one remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red button in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is the home button located in the middle of the remote under the arrows.
To select between different applications simply use the arrow buttons and press OK to select.
There are also specific buttons on the bottom for Netflix and Youtube.
Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use
Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.
KITCHEN
Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

Our main home comes with a ILVE oven which is perfect for home cooked meals. Please see the instructions below on how to use the oven.
The far right knob is for the fan setting of the oven. Turn it counter-clockwise to choose the setting.
The knob in the middle is to adjust the temperature
You can use the buttons on the far left side to set a timer.
Please ensure the oven is turned off after use by turning the knobs to face to the right.

Should the oven not work, you can reset this by following This Video.

Our main home comes with a 5-burner gas stove that is extremely easy to use and operate.
Choose the burner you wish to use and the knobs underneath have an indictor to show which burner it turns on.
Simply press and turn the knobs counter-clockwise until the burner lights up.
Please note that the middle burner requires a lighter to light up which will be in one of the drawers.
Please ensure all burners are turned off after use by turning the knobs to face to the right.

Our home comes with a Bellini Dishwasher. We ask that you make sure all the dishes and kitchen items are run in our dishwasher prior to your departure.
The Getawayz NSW team will leave ample dishwashing tablets for you to use. If we are running low, please advise us and we will replace these for the next guests.
The instructions on how to use the dishwasher are below:
Press the power button on the far left side to turn it on/off.
The “P” button next to it is the Programme button and you can press this to choose which cycle you need. The options are displayed on the screen.
The third button is for extra drying to dry dishes more completely.
On the right side, you can choose a 1/2 load cycle.
The second button on the right is to delay the cycle.
The far right button is the star/pause.

Our kitchen comes complete with a Delonghi Nespresso Machine and milk frother, perfect for the perfect cup in the morning. Getawayz NSW will provide you with ample coffee pods throughout your stay. If you prefer milk coffee over black coffee, you will need to provide your own milk for your stay.
On departure, if the coffee pods are running low, please advise us and we will make sure to replace these for the next guests.

Other than turning on the Nespresso Machine at the powerpoint, the first thing to do is make sure there is enough water in the machine to make your desired coffee.
On the top of the Nespresso machine, there are two buttons to make coffee (the left is for short black, and right is for long black). Behind this is the switch to power the machine. Simply press this down and it will turn on the machine. The buttons mentioned above will flash until ready to be used.
Simply place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. This will make your coffee.
Please remember to not overfill the pod tray.

Our home comes with a front loader washing machine for you to use throughout your stay. Getawayz NSW will provide you with washing powder for you to use. Please see below how to operate the washing machine:
Just turn the knob in the middle to your desired programme and this will turn on the machine.
You can then choose the temperature with the first button on the right.
The button next to it adjusts the spin speed.
Then simply press the Start/pause button on the far right to start the cycle.

We do not have a dryer, but there is a drying rack at the back next to the balcony to dry your clothes.
other amenities
Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

The home comes with a serene pool in the back yard for cooling down on the those hot days. Here are some important things to know:
The pool is not heated.
No loud noise around the pool area after 9pm.
Please be aware that Getawayz NSW and the property owners assume no liability for any accidents occurring in or around the pool area.
The booking holder accepts full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or harm resulting from the use of the pool. This responsibility extends to all individuals, including children and adults, and covers incidents related to intoxication. Your understanding and adherence to safety guidelines are appreciated.

Our Gas BBQ is located on the balcony and is perfect for family entertaining.
We provide a gas bottle which will be connected for you throughout your stay and there will be a spare located on the left side of the home if you need to switch this over.
If you do replace the gas, please let Getawayz NSW know and we will make sure to change this over when you have departed.
We ask if you use the BBQ, this must be cleaned prior to your departure. If this is not done, an additional $50 surcharge will be charged from the bond or claimed via the platform you have booked the home,

The gas bottles for the main house are located on the right side of the house near the lockbox.
Should the gas run out, you just need to turn the green switch at the top of the gas bottles so that it will connect the other gas bottle. If you need to do this, please let us know so that we can order a replacement for the empty one!

The fuse box at this property is located on the right hand side of the property (when looking at the front of the property) past the bush and next to the side gate (near the neighbours house)
Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown, or been switched to “off”.
If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage.
Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.
We would recommend either:
Using the Ausgrid Website to check for any known outages in the area.
Or call their hotline number: 13 13 88 to report an outage.
If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

Bins for our home are kept at the front of the home.
The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.
Bins are collected Tuesday morning, so we ask that you leave these out on a Monday evening (if you are staying on a Monday night) and collect these from the street if you are staying on Friday. If you are checking out on Friday, our housekeeping and styling team will collect these on your behalf.
If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.
Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
