House Rules
Living Space
Explore the heart of our home, where the dining and living spaces seamlessly blend, creating a peaceful ambiance surrounded by nature. Let us guide you through the unique elements of our cozy living room, designed for comfort and connection.

Easy Connection: You will find the Wi-Fi details on the fridge. Scan the QR code on the fridge to connect directly to the Wi-Fi.
Modem Location: The Wi-Fi modem is located in the cinema room, to the right of the TV.

Please find the instructions below on how to use the TV.
The remote control features a red symbol in the top right corner, which is used to turn the TV on and off.
When powering on the TV, the primary method for navigating between the available options, including free-to-air channels and applications, is by pressing the Home button marked with a house symbol.
To select an application, simply scroll through the options and press the middle button to confirm your preferred streaming platform.
The Sonos soundbar is connected to the television.
Please note:
Getawayz NSW does not provide Netflix or other streaming accounts. You will need to log in using your personal accounts.
Remember to log out of all accounts upon departure. Getawayz NSW is not liable for any charges or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

Remote Control Location: You will find the remote control on the wall behind the sofa.
Turning On the Ceiling Fan: Before turning on the ceiling fan, you must press the third switch located on the wall to the right of the fridge.
To turn on the ceiling fans, press the Power button and then select your desired speed.

You will find the firewood underneath the fireplace for your cozy evenings.
Emptying the Ash Tray
Grab the two black handles of the fireplace on the right side.
Open the compartment underneath the fireplace.
Pull out the small ash tray and empty it before use.
Controlling the Airflow & Burn Time
The fireplace has two control knobs:
Left knob
Right knob
For optimal performance, set both knobs to 3 bars to ensure proper airflow and a steady fire.
Important:
Never leave the fireplace unattended while a fire is burning.

There are 2 steps to access the front door.
The house has two floors, with 17 stairs leading to the first floor.
KITCHEN
Our home features a fully equipped kitchen, ideal for preparing family meals in the comfort of your stay. Here, we highlight key instructions for operating our kitchen efficiently.

Getawayz NSW provides coffee capsules for your stay.
Fill the water reservoir.
Turn on the machine by pressing one of the buttons.
Insert a coffee capsule.
Place your cup under the coffee outlet.
Select your desired cup size by pressing the corresponding button.
Enjoy your coffee!
If you prefer milk in your coffee, we request that you supply your own milk for your visit.

Experience seamless cooking with our stove’s four knobs:
Simply press, hold, and turn left to adjust the flame to your desired level.
For safety, once cooking is complete, ensure that the knob is turned fully to the right to prevent any gas leakage.

OVEN
Turning On the Oven: Turn the "Oven" knob to power it on and select your desired temperature.Setting a Timer: Use the "Timer" knob to set a cooking timer.
Using the Grill: The "Grill" knob operates the grill, which is located in the oven drawer.
MICROWAVE
The microwave is user-friendly and operates with ease. Simply press one of the buttons on the right-hand panel to select your desired program, such as defrost, soften, or melt. After selecting the program, press the Start button to begin.

In this section, we provide detailed information about the various utilities and services available for your convenience and comfort during your stay. From essential services to general safety facilities, you'll find everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and hassle-free.
POOL
Our home features a fully equipped pool for your comfort during the hot Australian summer. Here are the main highlights on how to operate our pool.

If you have activated the pool heating mode, please remember to turn it off before checkout.
If you are not using the pool, make sure to turn it off to save energy.
Please be respectful of the neighbours while enjoying the pool during the day.
After 9 PM, we kindly ask you to keep noise to a minimum if you wish to continue relaxing in the pool.

Locating the System
The heating system is located under the house. Follow the wooden lines until you find a large black rectangular machine. The control panel is on the right side of the machine.
Turning On the System
Press the power button on the right side of the control panel to turn it on.
The display will show the current pool temperature.
Adjusting the Temperature
Use the + and - buttons to increase or decrease the temperature.
Once set, the system will begin heating the pool.
Heating Time
The heating process takes approximately 6 hours to noticeably increase the temperature.
IMPORTANT: Turning Off the System
Before leaving the property for an extended period or checking out, manually turn off the power button to prevent unnecessary energy use.

The pool cleaner robot is stored in the basket between the two lounge chairs.
Setting Up the Robot
Take the robot and connect the pipe to the white plug located in the far left corner of the pool.
Screw the pipe in securely to ensure proper suction.
Place the robot in the opposite side of the pool for even cleaning.
Turning On the Robot
Everything is pre-set, so do not press any buttons except the power button (the large circular button).
Finishing Up
Once the cleaning cycle is complete, press the power button again to turn it off.
Remove the robot from the pool and drain any excess water.
Cleaning the Filter
Before the next use, open the middle compartment of the robot and empty the filter.
Always ensure the filter is clean and the pipe is properly connected for optimal performance.

Please be advised that the presence of glass around the pool area is strictly prohibited. If any glass is found during routine pool maintenance checks, additional charges may apply for draining the pool and removing the glass. These charges could potentially amount to the full bond paid for the property.

Please be aware that Getawayz NSW and the property owners assume no liability for any accidents occurring in or around the pool area. The booking holder accepts full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or harm resulting from the use of the pool. This responsibility extends to all individuals, including children and adults, and covers incidents related to intoxication. Your understanding and adherence to safety guidelines are appreciated.

MASTER BEDROOM
Remote Control Location: You will find the remote control on the wall above the left bedside table.
Turning On the Ceiling Fan: Before switching on the ceiling fan, you must press the right-side switch, located on the right side of the bed when facing it.
To turn on the ceiling fans, press the Power button and then select your desired speed.
SECOND BEDROOMRemote Control Location: You will find the remote control on the cabinet.
Turning On the Ceiling Fan: Before switching it on, press the bottom switch located outside the bedroom on the left wall.
To turn on the ceiling fans, press the Power button and then select your desired speed. -
Turning On the Steam Room
Press the power button located on the far left side of the control panel.
The screen will display the set temperature.
Adjusting the Temperature
Use the arrow buttons on the side to increase or decrease the temperature.
The maximum temperature is 50°C, but we recommend setting it between 40°C and 45°C for optimal comfort.
Steam Generation
The system takes approximately 5 minutes to start producing steam.
Each session lasts 30 minutes automatically.
Starting Another Session
If you wish to continue after 30 minutes, turn the power button off, then turn it back on and repeat the process.
Please make sure to turn off the steam room after each use.

WASHING MACHINE
Getawayz NSW provides laundry liquid for your stay.
Add the detergent to the detergent compartment.
Press the "Power" button to turn on the washing machine.
Turn the cycle selection knob to choose your desired wash cycle.
You can modify the temperature, spin speed, and other options by pressing the corresponding buttons.
Once ready, press "Start" to begin the cycle.
DRYER
Turn the knob to choose your desired drying mode.
Press the "Start" button to begin the cycle.

There are two parking spaces available for you.
Parking in the driveway is not allowed.

Main Fuse Box: Located on the right side of the house, at the bottom of the stairs when facing the house.
The emergency fuse box: Located to the right of the first (grey) house on the driveway.Follow the path to the very end, then turn left, and you will see it on the side of the stairs.
If the power is not working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and switch all fuses on if one has tripped or been switched off.nfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.
We would recommend either:
Using the Endevour Energy website to check for any known outages in the area.
Or call their hotline number: 13 10 03 to report an outage.
If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

We ask that all guests appropriately dispose of their garbage, and sort waste materials appropriately when removing trash from the home.
The bins are located at the parking spot.
Bin Types:
Red lid: General waste
Yellow lid: Commingled recycling (glass, plastic, metal, paper, and cardboard)
Green lid: Vegetation waste
Garbage Collection:
Collection takes place every Tuesday morning.
Bins must be placed at the top of the driveway on the sidewalk every Monday evening.

FIRE SAFETY
At Getawayz NSW, the safety of our guests is our top priority. We conduct regular fire safety inspections across all our properties to ensure a secure environment.
For your safety, please adhere to our strict no-smoking policy within the premises.
There is a fire extinguisher and blanket available in the butler’s pantry. If either is used, please notify Getawayz NSW immediately.
In the event of a fire, first ensure the safety of all guests, then promptly call the fire department at +000 using your phone.
We value your cooperation in maintaining a safe environment and ask that you report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is our highest concern.
