Thank you for choosing to stay at Drift. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

House Rules
LIVING ROOM
After ascending the stairs at Drift, you'll be welcomed by our open-plan dining, living, and kitchen area, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that draw your gaze to the ocean view. Below, you'll find key instructions on operating the main features of our living room.

Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

The WiFi modem is located in the first cupboard on the right side before entering the kitchen.
If the login details aren’t connecting, you can scan the QR code underneath the modem.

An integral highlight of our living room is the gas fireplace.
To operate it, use the remote located on the pillar connecting the living room and kitchen. Simply press the red button and wait a few seconds for the fire to ignite.

Our living room comes with a Samsung picture frame TV which has access to free to air TV, and is also a smart TV. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.
NOTE: This tv is never fully “Turned off”. instead it displays an image to make the tv look like picture!
There are two remotes for the TV & Sound system. The remote labelled “Samsung” will operate the TV, whilst the one labelled “Denon” will operate the Sound system.
Both the remotes have the on the button at the top of the remote. The Samsung is bright red, whilst the Foxtel power button is black and white.
When turning on the Samsung TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air, and smart apps) is through the button labeled with a house symbol, located directly under the main select button.
Simply scroll across the bottom to select your desired app.

Our living room comes with a LG TV which has access to free to air TV, and is also a smart TV. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.

The living/dining and bedrooms on the main first floor has a Daikin ducted air conditioning units to keep you comfortable during your stay. We ask that you kindly turn off when you are not home. The system is located in the top floor hallway, just past the kitchen on the way to the bedroom.
Use the top right hand button to turn the system on. The screen should show the current set temperature
To change the temperature use the arrows located in the middle.Either press the up to increase or the down to decrease.
If you would like to change the mode use the button “MODE” on the top left. Continue to click until you get to your desired mode.
To change the fan speed use the button with the “FAN” logo. Continue to click until you get to your desired speed
You may access the main menu and locate advanced settings, such as quick start, scheduling, etc, by pressing the arrow in the centre of the panel.
KITCHEN
Our beautiful Coledale home has a state-of-the-art kitchen with everything you could possibly need to cook as many home meals as you like! Even though there are plenty of local options (please feel free to check out our welcome letter), there is everything you need and more in this kitchen to create lovely home cooked meals.

Our main home comes with a Delonghi oven which is perfect for home cooked meals. Please see the instructions below on how to use the oven.
The bottom knob is for setting the temperature of the oven. Simply move the knob for the desired temperature
The knob on the top is to set the oven to the setting in which you wish to cook. For example, fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, etc.

The home has an Electrolux induction stovetop. Please see the following instructions on how to use:
Firstly, to turn on the stove you will need to touch the power plate. Then choose what hot plate you want to use by touching the temperature which is the plus and minus tab. This is indicated using a number display 1 for low and 9 for high. To turn it off you will need to touch the off button this will then give you the letter H this is a warning that it is still hot once that disappears you can then wipe it over without incident
The right backplate is a double that can either be used as a single or double plate. To use, you will need to touch the double ring symbol.

Our home is fitted with a Bosch Dishwashing Machine.
Please use the ‘Eco’ setting and press the + or – to choose a time frame.
To turn on the dishwasher, open the door latch and press the power button on the left side of the door.
Select the program you will be using whether Pots/Pan, Auto Wash, Super Wash, Eco Wash, Quick Wash, and Pre-Rinse then select the other settings of your choice on the right side of the panel.
Press the Start button on the right side. In case you would like to reset the program, press and hold the Start button for 3 - 5 seconds.
To turn off the dishwasher, press the power button on the left-hand side of the door.

First things first, right? If you are anything like us, it’s a must have.
Here are the instructions on how to operate the machine:
First step is to make sure there is enough water in the plastic clear container behind the machine. The Nespresso Machine is located on the left side of the sink.
There are two buttons on the Nespresso Machine. One for a shot of coffee (short black) and on the right, one for a long black. You can press either button to turn on the machine.
It will blink for 25 secs while it’s heating up and when lights are steady that means it’s ready!
To insert the coffee pod/capsule (regular sizes) lift the lever at the top front of the machine.
Then press either the button for Espresso or Lungo (long black). To stop the coffee flow before the automatic stop, or to top up your coffee click the same button again.
If you drink lots of coffee, like us, it’s important to empty the coffee pod tray after use. If this becomes too full, the machine won’t work!

Our home is fitted with an Electrolux Washer/Dryer Machine.
To use this machine you will need to choose a quick wash 15 minutes. Then if you would like to use the dryer choose cotton or mixed then select the time that you require.
To turn on the washing machine, press the power button below the control panel.
Use the dial to select the program you would like to use. Select the function on top of the power button for the Wash and Dry, Wash or Dry only.
Open the tray on the top left where the Electrolux logo is to place your softener, washing liquid, and washing power.
You can adjust the temperature and other settings on the right side and press the Start button.
Press the power button again to turn off the washing machine.
other amenities
Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

The home has an outdoor Weber barbecue and is attached to natural gas so no gas bottle needs to be refilled!
Please ensure you clean and turn off the BBQ completely after every use. There is a grill plate and also a flat plate.
You will need to use the BBQ lighter provided.

The fuse box at this property is located on the right hand side of the property (when looking at the front of the property, where the stairs lead you to the front door), behind the white gate.
Should power not be working, please check the fuses in the fuse box and flick all to “on” if one of the fuses has blown, or been switched to “off”. There is a torch located in the laundry (middle door of the pantry), on the trolley next to the washer and dryer.
If all the switches are on, this is most likely a local power outage.
Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.
We would recommend either:
Using the Endevour Energy website to check for any known outages in the area.
Or call their hotline number: 13 10 03 to report an outage.
If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

Bins for our home are kept in the wooden structure off the end of the car spot.
The recycling bin is the yellow bin and red is for general rubbish. Please make sure you use the correct bins for the correct materials.
Bins are collected Tuesday morning, so we ask that you leave these out on a Monday evening (if you are staying on a Monday night) and collect these from the street if you are staying on Tuesday. If you are checking out on Tuesday, our housekeeping and styling team will collect these on your behalf.
If the bin instructions are not followed (including taking these out on the correct night - we will send you a reminder on the evening) there will be a $100 surcharge taken from the bond or the platform you have booked on.

FIRE
Getawayz NSW prioritizes the safety of our guests and conducts regular fire safety inspections in all our properties.
To ensure safety, kindly use the rangehood in the kitchen and adhere to our strict 'no-smoking' policy within the house premises.
For emergencies, there is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket located under the sink. If used, please inform Getawayz NSW immediately.
In the event of a fire, please first ensure the safety of all guests and then promptly call the fire department at +000 using your phone.
Your safety is our top priority, so please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your cooperation is appreciated.

For issues during your stay, please call us on 0480 801 294.
Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.
Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
