LIVING ROOM

As you first open the door to Towradgi Beach House, you are greeted by our open-plan dining, living and kitchen room. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

  • Our home comes with high speed wifi, perfect for streaming your favourite shows and sports! The details can be found below:

  • One of the highlights and centrepieces of our living room is the slow-burning combustion fireplace. Getawayz NSW will provide you with enough kindling, firestarters and firewood for your stay. Simply set the fire and you will be toasty and warm in no time.

    We kindly ask that you do not remove the ash from the fireplace throughout your stay, if you can simply re-set a new fire ontop of this. Our housekeeping and styling team will look after this during the changeover.

    On the departure of your stay, if you can let us know if any of these amenities are running low, we would highly appreciate this. We will replace these for the next guests to use.

  • Our living room comes with a FFalcon Smart TV which has access to free to air TV as well as an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.

    There is one smart remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.

    When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol, located top right of the main selection button.

    To select between different applications simply scroll along the bottom row and press the middle button to select as well as there being Netflix, Youtube, Prime video and google play buttons underneath the main selection buttons.

    • Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use

    • Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

  • To raise or lower the blinds in the living room, please use the remote controls located on the kitchen wall opposite the fireplace. Press the up or down arrows to adjust the blinds to your preference.

KITCHEN

Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

  • OVEN

    We have a high-quality Miele oven, ideal for preparing home-cooked meals. Below are instructions on how to use it:

    • The knob on the far right controls the oven's different functions (such as fan-forced, grill, and bake).

    • Above this knob, you'll find two arrows that adjust the temperature.

    INDUCTION STOVE

    Our main home comes with a 4-burner induction stove that is extremely easy to use and operate.

    • In order to use this, simply hold the power button on the corner left for 3 seconds.

    • Once it is powered on you can set the level wished by pressing the numbers that will appear and is designed to identify which burner it is for.

    • Please note that when using our induction stove, please ensure that the pot or pan is placed on the stove before turning it on. Induction stoves require the presence of cookware on the cooking zone to function. This is because the stove needs to read which zone is covered before it can generate heat. Without the proper cookware in place, the stove won't work.

  • Our home comes with a Miele Dishwasher. We ask that you make sure all the dishes and kitchen items are run in our dishwasher prior to your departure.

    The Getawayz NSW team will leave ample dishwashing tablets for you to use. If we are running low, please advise us and we will replace these for the next guests.

    The instructions on how to use the dishwasher are below:

    Simply press the On/Off button on the far left to switch on the dishwasher.

    Next to the on/off button, you will see the different modes for cleaning. On departure, we ask that you use the “Quick power wash”. Our housekeeping & styling specialists will thank you for this!

    Once you've selected the desired program, please press the START button located on the far right side of the dishwasher to begin the cycle.

  • Every Getawayz home is equipped with a Nespresso machine and milk frother. Complimentary coffee pods are provided for your visit.

    When using the Nespresso machine:

    • Ensure the machine has adequate water, and is turned on at the powerpoint.

    • There are buttons to make different sized coffees on the top of the machine. After turning the machine on, these buttons will flash until the machine is ready for use.

    • When ready, place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. Then press the button corresponding to your desired size of coffee.

    • Please regularly empty out the discarded pods from the machine.

    If you prefer milk in your coffee, we request that you supply your own milk for your visit.

  • To use the microwave please see below:

    • Press the mode that you wish such has rice, pasta etc on the right side.

    • Adjust the power level that suits you the most by pressing the “power” button.

    • Finally, just press the button start and you will see how much time is left before your meal is ready. ENJOY!

Our home is full of all the amenities that you, your friends family and your chosen family could ask for. Below we have listed the other amenities available for you and your family to use throughout your stay!

  • You are welcome to wash and dry your clothes in this home. Detergent and washing powder has been provided for you.

    HISENSE WASHING MACHINE

    Our home comes with a front loader HISENSE washing machine for you to use throughout your stay. Please see below how to operate the washing machine:

    • Insert the washing powder or detergent into the left tray and close.

    • To power on the machine there is a power button on the right corner. Simply press to turn the machine on/off and you will see the screen turning on.

    • To chose from the programs simply twist the knob in the middle to your desired programs for washing.

    • On the right hand side, you can see different options for the cycle you have selected, including wash temp, water level and spin speed. Then press the START button on the far right side to launch it.

    HISENSE DRYER

    • To start the cycle, simply press the start/pause button located at the right side of the knob.

    • To power on the machine simply twist the knob in the middle. This also serves as the programs option therefore, twist to your desired drying program.

    • To start the cycle, simply press the play/pause button located at the far right hand side.

  • Floor Heating System in Bathrooms:

    Each bathroom is equipped with a floor heating system to keep you comfortable. Upon entering, you’ll find the control panel on the right side. To activate the heating:

    1. Press the button on the side of the screen to turn it on.

    2. Use the arrows to adjust the temperature to your desired level.

  • Wall Heater in Bedrooms:

    Each bedroom is fitted with a wall heater to keep you comfortable. To operate it:

    1. Locate the control screen on the right side of the heater.

    2. Press the On/Off button on the left to turn it on.

    3. Select your desired mode.

    4. Use the arrows to increase or decrease the temperature as needed; the temperature will display on the screen.

    Ceiling Fan in Bedrooms:

    Each bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan for your comfort. To adjust the fan speed:

    1. Locate the knob on the bedroom wall that features the fan logo.

    2. Turn the knob to set the fan to your desired speed level.

    Smart TV

  • Indulge in a game of billiards on our exquisite pool table, designed exclusively for our guests' enjoyment.

    Crafted with precision and elegance, this pool table beckons enthusiasts to showcase their skills in a game of cues and strategy.

    While we encourage our guests to relish in the thrill of the game, we kindly ask for caution and respect.

    Please handle the cues and balls with care, ensuring their longevity for the enjoyment of all future players.

  • Enjoy outdoor grilling at its finest with our Weber BBQ. When BBQ is on the menu, use the upper knob on the right side to achieve your preferred temperature. Plus, we've included a bar fridge for all your chilling needs. It's the perfect addition to keep your refreshments easily accessible during your outdoor adventures.

    Once done, please make sure the knob is back to the right as far as possible to make sure gas doesn’t leak.

  • We ask that all guests appropriately dispose of their garbage, and sort waste materials appropriately when removing trash from the home.

    If you can empty all the sanitary bins in the bathrooms, as well as take out the rubbish and put it in the outside bins located behind the property (facing it from the main road) and need to be placed at the front of the house EVERY TUESDAY EVENING. Please walk these around the side street and not through the house.

    The bins are colour coded:

    • Red lid is for general waste.

    • Yellow lid is for recyclable material.

    • Green lid is for vegetation

    Getawayz NSW requires guests staying in properties on garbage collection days to take the bins out the night before collection.

    A reminder will be sent, in addition to the information provided in this manual.

    If the bins are not taken out, waste materials are not separated, or excessive garbage is left on the property, a $100 surcharge will be taken from either the bond or via your booking platform.

  • The main fuse box for the interior of the property is located under the staircase directly in front of you when entering through the main door. The second fuse box, which controls outdoor electricity, is in the back courtyard on the left side of the house (when facing the house).

    In the case of a complete or partial power outage, please check the fuse box:

    • If any switches are flipped into the ‘off’ position, flip them back to an ‘on’ position.

    • If all switches are on, and no changes occur, then this is most likely an issue with the power supply.

    Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power shortages.

    We would recommend either:

    Using the Endevour Energy website to check for any known outages in the area.

    Or call their hotline number:  13 10 03 to report an outage.

    If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

  • Getawayz NSW ensures that each property has working fire alarms, and undergo regular fire safety inspections.

    FIRE EQUIPMENT

    • There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket underneath the sink and another fire set up equipment under the BBQ, for emergencies. Please notify Getawayz NSW if this is used.

    • In the case of a fire, prioritise the safety of all guests in the home, and then immediately call the fire department via +000 on your phone.

    HOUSE SAFETY

    Please be aware of an important safety consideration in the house. On the right-hand side of the kitchen's island, there is an open gap with no fences, leading directly to the stairs. To ensure your safety, we have marked this area with tape . Please exercise caution, particularly if you have children with you.

    Please report any near misses or incidents to us. Your safety is of utmost importance!

    Please note that Getawayz NSW and the owner take no responsibility or liability for any accidents (whether booked guests or day visitors) for any accidents with the stairs. Guests are to make sure to use appropriately and accept all liability for any accidents.

  • Getawayz NSW has staff available 7 days a week, from 8am - 9pm.

    Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.

    Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.

POOL

Our home features a fully equipped pool for your comfort during the hot Australian summer. Here are the main highlights on how to operate our pool.

  • In accordance with local council regulations, the spa jets are only operational between 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. They will be reactivated the following morning. You may heat up the spa for 2 hours at a time by pressing the button on the white wall next to the outside shower. It will take 30 minutes to heat up.

  • Please note that the presence of glass around the pool area is strictly prohibited. If our pool maintenance team discovers any glass during their regular checks, charges may apply for draining the pool and collecting all glass. Such charges could potentially amount to the entire bond paid for the home.

    For your convenience, we have supplied plastic glassware for use around the pool. If you plan to enjoy beverages such as champagne that come in glass containers, kindly pour them into the provided plastic glasses before taking them to the pool area. Your cooperation ensures a safe and enjoyable pool experience.

  • Please be aware that Getawayz NSW and the property owners assume no liability for any accidents occurring in or around the pool area. The booking holder accepts full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or harm resulting from the use of the pool. This responsibility extends to all individuals, including children and adults, and covers incidents related to intoxication. Your understanding and adherence to safety guidelines are appreciated.

  • For any serious accidents, please call 000 immediately. Our address is located on the booking confirmation and check-in instructions.
