Thank you for choosing to stay at Rockpool. The Getawayz NSW Team welcomes you into our home, and hope you enjoy your stay!

We have provided you with a detailed manual, specific to this home. You will also find our house rules attached.

House Rules
LIVING ROOM
As you first open the door, you are greeted by our open-plan dining, and living room. Below you will find the main highlights on how to operate the main aspects of our living room.

Our living room comes witha SONY Smart TV which has access to free to air TV as well as an abundance of smart apps. Please see the instructions below on how to operate the TV.
There is one smart remote to operate the TV. The remote has a red symbol in the top left corner, this will turn the tv on/off.
When turning on the TV, the main way to navigate between the different options (free to air and the applications) is through the Home button that has a house symbol, located top right of the main selection button.
To select between different applications simply scroll along the bottom row and press the middle button to select as well as there being Netflix, Youtube, Prime video and google play buttons underneath the main selection buttons.

Please note we do not provide any Netflix or other accounts, you will need to log into your own accounts for use
Please always remember to log out on departure. Getawayz NSW is not responsible for any additional bills or payments made on your account if you forget to log out.

Rockpool is equipped with a power ducted system, ensuring optimal heating and cooling throughout the year. Conveniently located on the left wall at the top of the stairs, the switch for the system is easily accessible.
Operating the system is straightforward:
Press the bottom right switch to activate the system; a green LED will illuminate, and the screen will light up.
The screen should display the set temperature in the middle. If not, press the top right button until it appears.
Adjust the temperature using the up/down arrows in the middle of the system. The set temperature will be displayed in the center of the screen.
Change the mode by using the left arrow, then select the desired mode using the up/down buttons until it appears on the left side of the screen.
We kindly request that you turn off the ducted system when leaving the property for extended periods. Despite its efficiency, it only takes approximately 10 minutes to achieve optimal heating or cooling.
For heating, we recommend setting the temperature between 22-23 degrees, and for cooling, between 18-20 degrees, ensuring your utmost comfort year-round.
KITCHEN
Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is perfect for family meals when you feel like staying in. Here you will find the main highlights on how to operate our kitchen.

Our main home comes with a AEG oven, which is perfect for home cooked meals. Please see the instructions below on how to use the oven.
The knob on the far left is to set the oven to the setting in which you wish to cook. For example, fan force, grill, oven grill, bake, etc.
The knob on the far right is for setting the temperature of the oven. your temperature will be displayed on the screen Simply move the knob right to increase temperature and left to decrease.

Our main home comes with a 4-burner gas stove that is extremely easy to use and operate.
In order to use this, simply hold the knob down and turn to the left to get the desired heat level you are after
Once done, please make sure the knob is back to the right as far as possible to make sure gas doesn’t leak

Our home is equipped with an AEG Dishwasher for your convenience. Kindly ensure all dishes and kitchen items are loaded into the dishwasher before your departure.
The Getawayz NSW team will provide an ample supply of dishwashing tablets. Should supplies run low, please notify us, and we will replenish them for the next guests.
Operating instructions for the dishwasher are as follows:
To activate the dishwasher, simply open the door and locate the on/off button on the left side of the top panel. Press this button to switch on the dishwasher.
After loading your dishes, close the dishwasher door securely.
On the front panel, there are four buttons. Press the top left button repeatedly until the LED indicator for your desired mode is illuminated. We recommend using the "30min 60" cycle before departure to assist our housekeeping and styling team.
To start the dishwasher, press the start button located on the bottom left of the front panel.

Every Getawayz home is equipped with a Nespresso machine and milk frother. Complimentary coffee pods are provided for your visit.
When using the Nespresso machine:
Ensure the machine has adequate water, and is turned on at the powerpoint.
There are buttons to make different sized coffees on the top of the machine. After turning the machine on, these buttons will flash until the machine is ready for use.
When ready, place the pod in the machine and pull the silver latch down. Then press the button corresponding to your desired size of coffee.
Please regularly empty out the discarded pods from the machine.
If you prefer milk in your coffee, we request that you supply your own milk for your visit.

Our apartment comes with a Hisense smart TV. Please see below instructions on how to navigate your way through the TV:
To turn the TV on please press the red power button located on the top left of the remote.
The TV comes with a dedicated ‘YouTube & Netflix’ button. Pressing these will take you directly to the application. We do not provide a Netflix account so if you do use your own account please remember to sign out once you leave the property to ensure nobody starts binge watching your favourite TV Shows for you.

The piano is at your disposal for enjoyment. Kindly treat it with care and refrain from placing drinks on it while in use. Thank you for your cooperation!
Rumpus Room
To the left of our front door, at the end of the hall, you'll find a rumpus room. This cozy space boasts a 75-inch TV, a piano, and an outdoor patio with a hot tub, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the scenic views.
Cinema room
Our residence features a Cinema room complete with a spacious projector screen, ideal for enjoying football games with friends or watching movies with family. Additionally, two-tiered recliner seats are providing ample space for everyone to relax in comfort.

The Home Features a home there complete with a large screen as well as a full working surround sound system to kick back and relax!

In our cinema room, you'll find two-tier recliner chairs that promise a complete cinematic experience. For safety, please ensure the chair is fully closed when leaving to prevent any potential injury.

FANS
Some of the bedrooms is equipped with easy-to-operate fans controlled by a sleek white remote. To start the fan, simply press any button on the remote.
Adjust the fan speed effortlessly choosing one of the 3 modes provided such as Low, Med and HI.
But that's not all; our fans offer additional modes for your comfort. Explore the timer mode which you can set up up to 6 hours and the light button.

WASHING MACHINE
Our home comes with a front loader washing machine for you to use throughout your stay. Getawayz NSW will provide you with washing powder for you to use. Please see below how to operate the washing machine:
Open the drawer located on the far left and insert the washing powder or detergent into the left tray and close.
Use the middle knob to choose your option for the cycle.
The option you choose will show up on the digital screen.
On the screen, you can see different options for the cycle you have selected, including wash temp, water level and spin speed.
Place the washing detergent into the container on the left.
Press the button START on the screen to begin the cycle.
After use, make sure the knob is turned back to the upper middle for ‘OFF’.
DRYER
To start the cycle, simply press the start/pause button located at the left side of the knob.
To power on the machine simply twist the knob in the middle. This also serves as the programs option therefore, twist to your desired drying program.
To start the cycle, simply press the play/pause button located at the far right hand side.

***The spa is currently unavailable for use. Thank you for your understanding.
In the outdoor patio adjacent to our rumpus room, you'll find a hot tub for your relaxation.
To use the hot tub:
Remove the spa cover by holding the straps and folding it over itself (this requires two people).
Lean the cover against the deck wall.
Control the temperature using the spa controls.
Please remember to return the cover once you're finished.
Important notes:
When the hot tub is not in use, please keep the cover on to conserve heat and reduce energy costs.
Avoid putting your head underwater.
Tie back long hair.
Ensure children are supervised at all times.

Our Gas BBQ is conveniently situated in our outdoor entertaining area adjacent to the dining space, perfect for family gatherings.
We provide a gas bottle that will remain connected throughout your stay, with a spare located on the left side of the home should you need to switch it over.
Should you replace the gas, kindly inform Getawayz NSW so we can ensure a smooth transition upon your departure.
We kindly request that you clean the BBQ before your departure. Failure to do so will result in an additional $50 surcharge, deducted from the bond or claimed through the booking platform.

The fuse box for this property is located on the right hand side of the property (facing the house).
In the case of a complete or partial power outage, please check the fuse box:
If any switches are flipped into the ‘off’ position, flip them back to an ‘on’ position.
If all switches are on, and no changes occur, then this is most likely an issue with the power supply.
Unfortunately, there is nothing Getawayz NSW can do to rectify external power outages.
We would recommend either:
Using the Endevour Energy website to check for any known outages in the area.

If there is not a local outage and you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Getawayz NSW on 0480 801 294. For any issues after 9pm, we will attend first thing in the morning, if power is not returned to the home.

Spare light bulbs and batteries are available in the top drawer of the island bench-top for your convenience. If you notice the light bulbs or batteries running low, kindly inform us at guests@getawayz.com.au, and we will promptly replace them upon your departure.

The bins are located on the right-side of the property facing it from the driveway.
The yellow bin is designated for recycling, while the red bin is for general rubbish. Please ensure you use the correct bins for the corresponding materials.
Bins are scheduled for collection on Tuesday mornings. If you're staying on a Monday night, kindly place the bins out on Monday evening. If your stay includes a Tuesday night, please retrieve the bins from the street. If you're checking out on Tuesday, our housekeeping and styling team will handle bin collection for you.
Failure to follow bin instructions, including placement on the correct night, may result in a $100 surcharge deducted from the bond or claimed through the booking platform. We'll send you a reminder in the evening to ensure proper compliance.

Any contact outside of business hours will be responded to from 8am onwards, the next day of business.
Please note that we take all inquiries from guests very seriously, and do our best to respond in a timely manner.
