  • Welcome to Ascot House, a beautifully appointed 3-bedroom home nestled in the heart of Bowral, the Southern Highlands' most loved escape destination.

From the moment you walk in, Ascot House feels like a proper home. Warm timber floors, sun-drenched open plan living and a gorgeous chef's kitchen set the tone for a relaxed Highland getaway. Whether you are planning a romantic long weekend, a family escape or a catch-up with friends, this home has everything you need to completely switch off.

The chef's kitchen is the centrepiece of the home and is fully equipped for everything from lazy Sunday breakfasts to long dinner party evenings. The open plan living and dining flows effortlessly to the alfresco outdoor entertaining area, where you can dine under the stars or sip your morning coffee surrounded by the beautiful sprawling garden. The kids will absolutely love having space to run and play outdoors.

When the Southern Highlands evenings cool down, gather around the gas fireplace and feel the chill of the Highlands melt away. Ducted air conditioning throughout the home keeps everyone comfortable year round, no matter the season.

The home comfortably accommodates up to six guests across three thoughtfully designed bedrooms. The king master suite serves as a true retreat, while the queen bedroom and a twin room featuring two king single beds that can be combined into one king provide flexible options ideal for families or mixed groups.

Both bathrooms have been brand new, finished to a high standard and ready to impress.

High-speed WiFi, a dedicated workspace, smart TV, free on-site parking and seamless self check-in via lockbox round out everything you could need for a stay that feels effortless from the moment you arrive.

Ascot House is just minutes from Bowral's best restaurants, award-winning wineries, beautiful Corbett Gardens, the Bradman Museum and the boutique shopping that makes this town so special. In spring, the famous Tulip Time festival is right on your doorstep, and in autumn the turning Highland leaves create a backdrop that is simply breathtaking. Step out from the backyard and enjoy direct access to the famous Cherry Tree walk, perfect for morning strolls, sunset wanders, and soaking in the beauty right at your doorstep.

  • Nestled in the heart of the Southern Highlands, Bowral is one of New South Wales' most beloved escape destinations, just 90 minutes from Sydney and a world away from the everyday. Famous for its cool-climate gardens, beautiful heritage streetscapes and relaxed country sophistication, Bowral is the kind of place that instantly slows you down and reminds you what a holiday is supposed to feel like.

Spring is pure magic in Bowral. The legendary Tulip Time festival transforms Corbett Gardens and the surrounding streets into a breathtaking sea of colour, drawing visitors from right across Australia. Autumn is equally spectacular, painting the town in rich gold and amber as the deciduous trees turn. Winter wraps the Highlands in crisp mountain air, perfect for cosy evenings by the fire and long walks through quiet country lanes, while summer brings mild, sunny days ideal for exploring on foot, cycling the rail trail or visiting the many wineries dotted throughout the region.

Food lovers are genuinely spoilt here. Bowral's main street is lined with excellent cafes, award-winning restaurants and boutique wine bars showcasing the very best of Southern Highlands produce. The region is home to some of NSW's finest cool-climate wineries, including Centennial Vineyards, Tertini Wines and Artemis Wines, all within easy reach. Farmers markets, artisan providores and farm-gate experiences add an extra layer of flavour to every visit.

For those who love the outdoors, Mount Gibraltar Reserve offers beautiful bushwalking trails with sweeping views across the Highlands, and the Bowral to Mittagong Rail Trail is a favourite for walkers and cyclists alike. Diana's Baths waterfall walk and the vast Morton National Park are close by for anyone seeking a deeper dose of nature.

Culture and history run deep. The International Cricket Hall of Fame at Bradman Oval is one of Australia's most celebrated sporting museums, dedicated to the legendary Sir Donald Bradman who grew up right here in Bowral. The Ngununggula Regional Gallery showcases outstanding contemporary Australian art in a stunning architectural setting, and Retford Park Estate, now a National Trust property, is perfect for a leisurely afternoon stroll through magnificent heritage gardens.

Shopping in Bowral is a joy in itself, with the main street filled with beautiful homewares stores, antique dealers, galleries and boutique fashion that regularly draw visitors from Sydney and beyond.

Whether you are planning a romantic escape, a family holiday, a special celebration with friends or simply a long overdue weekend away, Bowral delivers something genuinely special every single time. The pace is slower, the air is fresher, and the warmth of this remarkable community will have you coming back season after season.

    • Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

    • The home has security cameras around the property facing only the garden and driveway. Rest assured, no cameras encroach on the privacy inside the home.

    • If you'd like to combine the 2 single beds into 1 king bed, please let us know upon booking.
